InWroclaw What do you think about aluminium wiring? There is some where I am, along with copper too.

Aluminium tend to heat more than Cu and crack easily when moved with loose socket. In older (2-wire) instalations there is a danger of breaking PEN wire and Live voltage can appear on metal parts of appliances. You can change it for Cu 3x1.5mm2 for lights, 3x2.5mm2 for sockets and 3x4mm2 for kitchen appliances (if heavy loads installed)

I have not seen one which doesn't do that.

InWroclaw I don't know what you mean unless you're saying a socket with a switch is less reliable.

Just another thing in the current path to fail. Every switch, contact, connection, junction is a resistance and may heat or melt. You are reasonable user but someone may want to connect a welding inverter and angle grinder together. In this scenario PL socket may be more fool proof.

InWroclaw I have never known one to fail if made by the proper manufacturers there such as MK

Because electrical things are treated very seriously in the UK.

InWroclaw Also, that could mean the RCD doesn't prevent danger if it works the same way and only disconnects the one ('wrong') wire.

RCD always disconnects both L and N wires.

(It seems to me that without a switch on a socket, there is a spark or risk of a spark when plugging or unplugging appliances.)

Sparking always occur when disconnecting heavy load visible on socket contacts or hidden inside the switch. Switch rated 16A make socket more expensive and less reliable than a direct wire.

The BBC has an English Language [learning] page. They do other languages too.

Nou fajnie mieć taka zabawkę za miliard funtów niż nie mieć nieprawdaż? Kiedy jeszcze mieszkałem w UK to widywałem wojsko, czołgi na tzw wyjazdach do ludzi, pokazy ratownictwa morskiego, helikoptery itp Jakoś człowiek sie lepiej czuje kiedy widzi, że oni wiedza co z tym robić w razie czego.

Zdaje się, że jeden (lub dwa z czterech) okręt podwodny zawsze pływa i odstrasza. Nawet jeśli w Londynie nie pozostałby kamień na kamieniu to kapitan wie co robić.

Oczywiście, że zauwazył ale ludzie nie czytaja tych brukowców a nawet jeśli to nie biora tego na poważnie. Są zajęci swoimi sprawami, są już po dobrej stronie granicy i coraz mniej ich to obchodzi co za brednie tam sie wykluwają. Nie można tez powiedzieć że to wszystko piszą cyberżołnierze Kremla czy jak ich nazywaja brygady sieciowe. W Polsce tez jest dużo świrów, którzy lubia być kontrowersyjni. Zwykły zjadacz chleba uwaza, że samolot zestrzelili przez pomyłkę separatyści i żadna propaganda tego nie zmieni. Ludzie chcą też mieć za sąsiada cywilizowany kraj, w Uni, w Schengen, bez kontroli granicznych a co tam oni wyciągają za brudy z przeszłości to nie ma znaczenia.

Don't say like this. I'm a humble electronics technician and have bought a flat in beautiful estate in a perfect location. I could sell tickets for people to see the view from my balcony. I have two cars and company car. Some of my friends built houses in PL which could be considered as palaces in UK. The world is changing very fast. You are young.

No, Poland is not so expensive. You need to have aprx. 150-200 Euro to live there without any problem.

I doubt it. In the shi1hole like Olsztyn they ask for 120 euro pcm for room. Food costs another min. 120 euro pcm. All red buses (in the city area only excl suburbs) 26 euro pcm.

The most important thing to you is to appear in Wydział Komunikacji with sale agreement Umowa kupna sprzedazy
In case of accident or crime commited after date stated in agreement you are clean.

It is about -14'C outside now. I love the way iPrincesses clean the snow off their cars and desperately try to start engine.
Of course I don't help them. I support a gender equality idea. Life is hard ;)

In Olsztyn recently an old prick killed the dog in such situation so it was widely discussed.

I understand American English far better than British English. British people tend to mute endings and
change amplitude rapidly (of course there is huge difference when British person turn the posh English on)
while American English is more compressed to me.

Specifically, do they think Americans speak too fast?
