I did a little search through Polish websites. One of the most popular sites in Poland is nk.pl (former nasza klasa -our class).
There is registered woman from Koszalin, named Ania Berkowska (Lutowska). The name Lutowska is, as she indicates, her maiden name, maybe you should get in contact with her.

Also, on the same site you can see registered "rod/klan Lutowski/Lutowska/Lutowscy" where 47 different families with Lutkowski/Lutkowska surname are listed.

Lutkowski - is male form of surname, (sometimes female form too, if living abroad Poland)
Lutkowska -is female only form

Which means, you'll need to look for Lutkowski surname in any of the Polish records regardless of his written form used abroad.

It's not district it's village (wieś) called Kule.

From the scanned document , it says:

"...przy ulicy Nowy Świat, pod numerem 1298, w Parafii Świętego Krzyża zamieszkałym, urodzonym we wsi Kule, Gubernii Warszawskiej....

His father Kajetan Gładysz was Captain in the Imperial Army and I think that the word dworski could refer to Julian's social status instead of occupation (?) not sure here; he was really young at the time of marriage.

Maybe you should look in other documents to check, if some other details are mentioned about village Kule or look into Gubernia Warszawska region and see if such village existed at the time if not it could be that the priest made a mistake.

His wife-to be, Paulina Jaworska was residing at Sowia Street number 2665 , in the Parish of Saint John (Parafia Świętego Jana) . She was born in the town Pułtusk, Płock Province at the time.

Poland recognises dual citizenship, which means when you are in Poland you are treated like Polish citizen and you are required to have Polish documents with you but they have nothing againts the fact if you acquired citizenship of other country, like ie: Australia or UK etc. I am Polish dual citizen and I know how it works.

In Belorus (or in Russia),the law states: when you acquire other country citizenship you automatically loose your Belarusian/ Russian citizenship, which is completely different to the Polish law.


You don't need to speak proper Polish if you were born Polish, it doesn't matter where in the world you live.


Maybe there was need to think twice before approving everyone's (who said I'm Polish) citizenship from former Soviet Union. We all know that KGB agency (Miss Chapman is a good example here) is well and working until today and anyone could and still can pose as a Polish citizen.

In Poland the rules are like in Australia we do not have age limit for drinking or smoking but to purchase these you need to be over 18.

In Poland there is no age limit for drinking but you need to be 18 to buy alcohol in pubs or in shops.

Poland really cares about it's citizens!

People with Karta Polaka are from countries of former Soviet Russian republics and in most these countries don't recognise dual citizenship, which means you cannot become citizen of another country because you loose your current citizenship- like it is in Bielorus.

Karta Polaka doesn't interfere with these (citizenship) rules and is a good way to recognise Poles unless they want to return to Poland for good, then they would be able to acquire any Polish documents while living in Poland.

Noone died- that's how it should be!

The cyclone is still there (now weaker and Category 3 not 5) moving slowly though the land, stright into mining town Mount Isa.
We don't know what the damage is or if anyone was killed. The area is without power and can't be accessed yet. They say there are no damage to the evacuation centers, thx god.

There are towns now called "ground zero" but we don't know the details about the damage yet.


Are you sure that your house withstand approx.300km/h wind? The best way is to go into evacuation center but with strong structures like shopping malls, which are build here to withstand this kind of disasters and which are partly underground.
