'Fort Trump' Military Base in Poland

Polish President Duda urged President Trump on Tuesday during a joint news conference to deploy more US troops and military equipment to Poland, even suggesting the US establish a permanent military base and name it "Fort Trump."

Great idea, dismantle the U.S. military bases in sellout Germany that pour billions of dollars into the Germany economy who in return buys billions of dollars of gas from Russia pumping up Russia's economy and move these bases to Poland.

Pump up our true allie Poland's economy for a change.
Trump likes Poland so it just may happen.

Irony: they wouldn't let him have his military parade in the DC, but Poland would probably be happy to host it in Warsaw.
I would love to see it.

"Great" idea indeed. Turn Poland into the prime target for a first strike of the Russians. The Germans will appreciate that.

Lol as if Poland is not a prime target already. I bet every single red commie dog scenario for war has Poland being crushed first.

Ofcourse, the Germans have immigrants to replace the $ spending Americans now,the local businesses will flourish b4 that first strike comes with immigrant replacements.

Germans want the gas because they plan to continue expanding their awesome economy. Russians want the money. Its just more orders for the Polish economy from Germany.

Of course it's a target, but the country isn't important enough for the Russians to be turned into a sea of glass right away. That's reserved for Germany and the American bases that hold the U.S. nukes. So move these bases to Poland and have fun. The Germans will be forever grateful and praying that the wind blows eastwards when the proverbial hits the fan.

and name it "Fort Trump."

Trump should at least do something for the Poles first before he get's his "fort" named...

Poland is one of the few countries in Europe whose citizens still need to get visas to visit the United States for tourism. It can take weeks and over a $100 to get one. It's a sore point for Poland.....

....but this behaviour follows the old polish pattern, to look to far away places for salvation, ignoring/fighting the neighbours. And then, when the **** hit's the fan, alone...again.

Today it's biting the EU hand and licking Trumps boots...I don't even need a fortune teller that that bodes not well for Poland...again!

Oh bull hockey !
You have repeatedly and keep up the parroting on Germany.
Being you are a Australian born citizen, live in the United States of America with a citizenship here, why are you so obsessed over Germany constantly ????

Germany WOULD NOT BE a primary target in a first strike.
The United States has nukes scattered all over the globe not to mention our stealth subs with nukes that no one knows where they are at.

The U.K., the United States and Israel would be primary targets for Russia in the first strike.
Now please stop with how Germany is a primary target or at least share what your prioritized concern for Germany is.

Poland is one of the few countries in Europe whose citizens still need to get visas to visit the United States for tourism.

That quote did not come from this thread.
Regardless No Poland is not one of the FEW countries that need a visa to visit the U.S.A.
It cost a hell of a lot more for some other countries to get one than a $100 which only covers the paperwork.
It has been explained to you VERY CLEARLY WHY Poland is in this situation.
Poland has shot THEMSELVES in the foot for being DISHOSNEST and not going back home when the visa expires....same with ALL the countries that fall in this category (third world mentality) so save the tears.

Fort Trump is a tremendous idea by President Duda as those bases not only employ huge amounts of local citizens but pumps billions into a countries economy.

No...you can find info about that all over the net. It has been after all a sore point for years already..

Regardless No Poland is not one of the FEW countries that need a visa to visit the U.S.A.

It is in the EU!

The EU is lobbying to get Poland the same visa rules like most other EU countries...nobody else does that.

He loves Poland so much to move his military there but not the polish people enough to award them the same diplomatical
respect like...say..."enemies" France and Germany???

Let's say it has been tried to find excuses for that, so that this ongoing affront doesn't look as bad as it really is!

even suggesting the US establish a permanent military base and name it "Fort Trump."

Oh for goodness sake, no sense of diplomacy or a national interest.

Now that is just embarassing.

That is actually clever.

but the country isn't important enough for the Russians to be turned into a sea of glass right away.

Quit your yapping Mr I'ManExpert. Tell me when was the last time a nuclear weapon in a war? chances for that happening is close to zero.

That's why Poland should have a secret nuclear program like Israel
Bratwurst Boy 12 | 11,865
19 Sep 2018 #16
I doubt it would stay secret very long!

And what use is a totally secret nuke anyhow...the total mother of all weapons nobody knows off is no real deterrent either! ;)

chances for that happening is close to zero

Sure, especially if Russia attacks a NATO country or vice versa. No nukes will ever be involved, ever. LOL! Tell me why Poland wants the American troops so badly if there is zero chance for a Russian attack.

Quit your yapping

Quit your silly behavior, Iron.

I just talked with Trump on the phone and he informed me that he would be leaving the U.S. nukes in Germany and only moving the ground forces and equipment to Fort Trump in Poland so as not to make Poland a primary target.

but not your polish people enough to award them the same diplomaticalrespect like...say..."enemies" France and Germany???

First of all Brat, please do not hijack my thread.
Second I did not know France and Germany were enemies of the U.S.
There is another thread already about the crying of why Poland needs a VISA to enter the U.S. just like Poland needs a visa to enter nearly 50 other countries and territories of the world.

ONE MORE TIME.....Poland has shot THEMSELVES in the foot for being DISHOSNEST and not going back home when the visa expires........
Why are you Poles not protesting Russia for requiring you to have one to enter Russia ?
Now get back on topic and stay on topic.

Tell me why Poland wants the American troops so badly

First tell us why you are so adamant about Germany constantly from day one when I got here.
Poland wants American troops for several reasons besides the protection that it would give Poland.
If Russia attacked Poland and killed a single U.S. soldier their would be a huge price to pay for Russia is the biggest reason.

Then their is the training facilities where Polish military could train and learn how to operate the latest technology in warfare.
Then there would be the all the civilian jobs created to boast the economy so the Polish would not have to leave Poland to get a decent paying job.

I guess I should answer your question with a question theother, "why wouldn't they want a 'Fort Trump' ?
TheOther 6 | 3,667
19 Sep 2018 #22
besides the protection that it would give Poland

There is no protection through conventional troops. The next war between Russia, China and the West will be a nuclear one - no matter how it starts off.

why wouldn't they want a 'Fort Trump

Because it sounds wrong. "Fort Pussy" or "Bonespur Hills" are much more fitting.

BB is a German.

Hmm, because all other EU countries have this visa waver and only Poland doesn't. Stop the difference.

The next war between Russia, China and the West will be a nuclear one

O.k. Mr,I'manexpert Bonespur. Tell us how you can be so sure of that.

There is no protection through conventional troops.

There is if it is a conventional take over which Russia could conquer the E.U. in in two weeks in a conventional war.
You seem to be avoiding my question son, "tell us why you are so adamant about Germany constantly from day one when I got here."

BB is a German.

Yeah but he was Polish born plus he is a pretty good guy with manners.

focus on the topic only, please

Trump said that German citizens are not pleased by Germany being selfish and building the north stream II. Is that true BB?
Bratwurst Boy 12 | 11,865
19 Sep 2018 #26
....frankly I have to admit "the German citizens" don't care. It's not a real topic here....
Some media wondered about Trump blaming Germany for making itself a "captive" of Russia and started to show numbers about our
energy sources, but that was that then, and politically interested people know that this pipeline is a sore spot between Poland and Germany, but
there are so many and Poland is seen as not Germany-friendly in the first place so that doesn't count as much...

But I find it funny that someone like "Maga" Trump accuses another country of "selfishness! :)

I think that the military base really ought to be named "Fort McCain", if anything.

Because of the whole Wall thing?

Yeah...because of the whole Wall "thing".

You must understand, that was very important to millions of people back then...I for one will be forever grateful (and for Gorbi of course:).
