That certainly is not the case in Poland. Let me remind you that Warsaw was last of the big polish cities to be connected to highway grid, it does not have a road ring.
Like the UK though I guess, the capital always gets the most attention, with the rest being neglected.

Indeed that is how it works in Polish. Wąchać/Powąchać: Wącham kwiatki (I am smelling fowers), and then there is also a verb Pachnieć: Ona dobrze pachnie (She smells good)
How is this dealt with in Polish? Is it prevented from by the possibility that Polish has more specific verbs than "smell"? For instance, two words instead of one, one meaning to give off an odor, and the other meaning to commit the action of trying to smell something.

Indeed. It's widely used in spoken language. Neither technically correct nor seen much in writing.
One that I always found funny was saying dobra instead of dobrze for a way to say okay. Can any Poles confirm this one?

It is typical for those who lived in what is now known as Belarus, which indeed until end of 18 century was part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
I will add that I've heard that -icz ending is typical for polonized Lithuanians :)

I'd say typically it's 10% in restaurants. Taxis - no tip usually but I do let them round the amount. Hotels? No prevailing rule. If you stay for a longer period of time you could leave some money for the cleaning lady - use your own judgment here.

How about going to a Wizzair stand in the airport and asking them if they see it as a problem? If they do, they surely can change it there.
The number and everything else is correct the expiry date just doesn't match on the boarding pass and Wizz is unable to change it.
