I will add that I've heard that -icz ending is typical for polonized Lithuanians :)

Consider also how much a prime minister has to read in order to formulate conclusions/decisions needed to run a country, I wouldn't be surprised if it was his reading/analysis designated day.

I see no problem here. Do you envy him or something? When in US I also had to commute by plane on a weekly (sometimes bi-weekly) basis. There was nothing enjoyable about it really.
