The worrying thing is, they really believe this rubbish. All this talk about not offending minorities, yet they don't seem to understand that Poles consider being called "East Europeans" offensive, and constantly use it in the media. Inadequate diversity training, obviously ;)

This country actually had pretty good race relations until the PC brigade infested every organisation, so it's ironic that I hear many more racist comments than I did back in the 1980s (before anyone asks, south Asians are by far the worst offenders).

Skoda Fabia. Been driving mine for nearly 4 years now, very few problems (it helps if you keep a spare ignition coil though). Tough as old boots - first day I bought it, I put it into 1st and not reverse, put my foot down, and went straight into the back of a lorry. Shattered number plate, damaged pride, but nothing else. I've lost count of the number of times I've reversed into things since then, but you would never guess. Passed its 4th MOT with not one failure. Cheap to run, OK on fuel, starts first time when it's -12, and it's full of Audi parts :)

This seems to be a common trait amongst your age group over here. Why date/marry someone who wants a respected career, when you can date the local drug dealer who can pick and choose his hours, yet earns more? I've been a victim of this myself, and it's pretty sad.
