News / 2016, the year of change in Poland? [70]

Too bad PO's 500 also for the first child wasn't accepted, right?

It should be only for 2nd and 3rd child, to cut off Gypsies and other underclass "producers of children". It's not a welfare program but an investment program, to turn current 2+1 model into 2+2 and avoid importing millions of savages in the future, who (next to other... issues) would become a huge burden on the budget. The thing with taxes is that most of young families make so little that even 0 PIT would not help enough. The "rich" ? Perhaps top 10% shouldn't get it but on the other hand they contribute more than enough in taxes, so getting back a bit of it is a non-issue. Making it income based would generate additional administrative costs and opportunities for abuse.

Work / Average salary in Poland for PhD in IT [40]

Who the фцчк аяе you to tell me shut up ?

I'm a person, who knows your "rationalization" here doesn't have much to do with reality. Most of Indians are dragged to Poland by like 10 corpos and usually they are not even typical IT guys but "business consultants" of less common modules of business Apps etc. so much for "not enough IT talent left". It's just a matter of incorrect HR policy at several corpos, noting else.

They cant find polish IT guys for those jobs, because a polish IT guy talented and experienced enough to make 10000-15000 a month in poland, is away , in germany, UK, switzerland making 10-15k pln in a week.

Nonsense. Shut up If you have nothing better to say.

News / Poland's post-election political scene [4080]

Walesa remains a hero.

For:
* commies that he provided with the safe landing in 3rd RP.
* international big business that was allowed to transfer a few hundred billion out of Poland.
* "social-democrats" and other shyt that try to ride on this dead horse.

Bolo is a village idiot, people here know it very well, last time he was running for office, he got 1.01%. The only difference is that this time people can clearly see the whole 3rd RP was built on the rotten foundation. May the KOD, PO & Sewtru unite under the leadership of mighty Bolo, that would be something :)))

Who or what is Sewtru? Please use correct names for public figures,so you don't confuse readers

News / 2016, the year of change in Poland? [70]

we could see a 25% cut in PIT/CIT with that money.

Or most likely have it distributed to Miro, Zbycho and other "investors" If your Platfuses won :)))

Get informed about Poland and Poles and you'll realize that your question can shock....

Why should he care about that ? Apparently he's trying to figure out how much of it he could save... Let's say you got offered a job somewhere in the Gulf for EUR 50k a year... Now is it good money or not ? You need to know what are the costs of living there...

No Pole with the language and connections gets this kind of salary!

Huh ? 10, 12 or even 15k gross are nothing so unusual for senior specialists, I remember some thread (lost track of it somehow...) recently with a Danish guy claiming to be 25 years old and making 30k gross or something in 3 city, that was strange, but 10k a month is not... get a job at HQ of any mid-large company, push 1 level up from the bottom and that's it.

I believe most of those jobs could be filled in by Poles.

Well it seems like these are technical IT jobs and evidently the Poles are either unable or unwilling to do them at this price.

These are corpo jobs and corpos are ineffective by default, people at the bottom can't decide about anything and people at the top are out of touch with anything on the ground... In cases like this, I guess HR dept prepared requirements for the job and that includes let's say "3 years of experience in working with (insert some rare shyt, like some software that's unknown outside let's say a narrow circle of corporate credit risk modelling people)" and that's it, it doesn't matter that typical IT guy could learn it within 3 months and then work with it for half of that money. They need someone "with experience" and that's it and in case of niche things, there really might to be a problem to find someone available in Poland, while Indians, there's over a billion of them.

Love / What are the good places to meet decent woman motivated to establishing a family in Ustka area? [32]

or rather as a "hole"

God :)))

Polish women are quite interested in French,German,English,Swedish etc men !

That's why you ask on the internet forum "how to meet women" ? Come on, you either know how to do "it" or not...

it's because they are successful

The times when "westerners" in Poland were often CEOs etc. are long gone, these days they usually work at call centre, teach English etc. So much for being so successful.

News / The dossier of TW "Bolek" - Poland's IPN assisted by police enters the home of the late general Kiszczak [306]

Now Poland hates him?

Huh ? Most of Poland hates him since +20 years, now one of top commies kicked the bucket and it turns out he kept some files at home.. what's there is not yet clear but looking at the hysterical comments of W. I wouldn't be surprised If it's all true...

Lech Walesa was a Polish hero and freedom fighter

Or not.

This is crazy.

Why ? You think truth should be hidden because it would ruin nice sounding story ?

News / Poland to join anti-ISIS coalition [22]

Poland will send four of its F-16 jet fighters to patrol airspace over Syria

Last time I heard that nonsense was denied. Hopefully that won't happen. Syria is a mess, it's a playground for global and regional powers and there's no good guys to help there. Even Kurds (although seems to be the best out of these various fractions and tribes) are far from being saint. Besides, I wouldn't be surprised if "allies" tried to push us there into some conflict with Russians operating in that area and that's the last thing we need now.

Law / Business in Poland and Polish reality, How are you doing in Poland? [82]

i was following our local school bus up the lane, the thing is some kind of old Russian banger with smoke pouring out of it , the engine cover had swung open, for the life of me...

Buses in local transport are usually old. That's because new ones are very expensive, the large ones (with +40 seats) cost like 1 mln PLN and more. In Poland new buses are being bought mainly either by cities or by the companies operating long ("intercity" or abroad) distance routes. If they were changing buses every few years, the costs would have to be so high that it would be likely cheaper to put these kids into several taxis... But if the bus is old it doesn't have to mean it needs to smoke like a steam locomotive, obviously it shouldn't If is well maintained. You can call police if you see this crap again, unless they are busy with something else, they should check it out.

BTW I think Polski Bus was set up by some guy from the UK so it's not impossible :)))

And the meaning of that "destruction" is about as huge as of that of "W Sieci" destroying Merkel....

Law / Business in Poland and Polish reality, How are you doing in Poland? [82]

The venture ended up being marginally profitable but ended up taking up most of the week rather than the one or two days that I had originally planned.

That's what the low-margin business is about. You can find for instance people, who own several 24h stores and make a lot of money barely doing anything but 10-15 years back they were like zombies working 60-70h a week and it took them years to fine the tune and actually make any serious money out of it.

If you do decide to make the jump into property, there really are many avenues you can explore, all offering solid yields and a good chance of capital gain.

You sound like you want to sell him something...

A minimum wage thing, but benefit of it would be mainly working from home so she can spend time with the little one, and she can work for hersel

OK so indeed these are not huge expectations... but perhaps this is a problem... I could be wrong but it seems you were thinking like "It doesn't have to bring any big profits so I will just buy a bus and it will be going on somehow" and although it would be likely easier to run this kind of business in the uk, I think that generally business in "traditional" sectors of the economy like transport, retail, catering etc. is based on low margins hence it require careful planning and effort to make any profits out of it.

Like I said, I don't know this sector too well, so no need for fake "mentoring" but generally there's really many "przewóz osób" small companies in Poland and they are somehow making "some" money. Usually they combine regular routes with 1 time orders, often have some sort of specializations, for instance there are many companies in western Poland that focus on transporting people to Germany (work, shopping etc.) and seem to have at least like 4-6 vehicles, often the smaller ones like Crafter, Sprinter etc.
