Life / New Royal Baby Boy - Recommended Polish Baby Names [21]

I think they should name the new royal child Cnut or Canute. At least recognize the Polish Heritage that goes deep into Royal History in the UK. As you may know,

Cnut was of Danish and Slavic descent. His father was Sweyn Forkbeard, King of Denmark (which gave Cnut the patronym Sweynsson, Old Norse Sveinsson). Cnut's mother was the daughter of the first duke of the Polans, Mieszko I; her name may have been Świętosława (see: Sigrid Storråda),[5][6][7] but the Oxford DNB article on Cnut states that her name is unknown.[8]

Apparently some historians feel that Canute was one of the most effective kings in Anglo Saxon History.

USA, Canada / Are there any Polish people in Florida? [311]

Found a little Polish Deli in Melbourne (hour south of Daytona). The owner ( a very nice lady) was so happy to revert to speaking Polish with the better half! They had a decent amount of Polish products, mainly transported from the north, and with input from a local Polish Baker. Prices were high though, but that's the cost of getting decent stuff in the middle of nowhere.

UK, Ireland / English/British rudeness - what do Polish people think about it? [161]

Three part question:

There are four urinals mounted on the wall of a men's WC.

1) nobody else is in the WC. Which urinal do you use?
2) one person is using the second urinal from the left. Which urinal do you use?
3) one person is using the second urinal from the right and another person is using the fourth from the left. Which urinal do you use?

My answers:
1) Far left.
2) Far right.
3) Far left.
