I love this forum - It's so Polish: tolerant, inconsistent, amusing

It is so Polish - tolerant, inconsistent, amusing.
Nobody is really serious here. Moderators set up rules and nobody follows them. When new rules about quote manner are introduced - foreigners join restive Poles and put up resistance together. In result, suspensions are distributed widely but everybody knows they are like a punishment for a naughty kid from doting parents- we have to punish you for your misdemeanor, but remember, we still love you.

Guys, stay this way because you are unique in the whole universe. :):):):):):):)

You are ignoring me?
This forum is one of best forums I have participated..
Many forums are banning people without any reason.
For example, I wrote the word "monarchy" once or twice on serious British forums, bammm, it didn't take a day or two for them to ban..

Welcome to the Earth.

You are ignoring me?

Excuse me, Sir.

Many forums are banning people without any reason.

This forum is banning for a reason very quickly and unbanning even more quickly. It is great.

For example, I wrote the word "monarchy" once or twice on serious British forums, bammm, it didn't take a day or two for them to ban..

Oops, was it the British Communist Party forum? :):):):)

Donation is a kind of investment. You need to be happy as the forum is getting better.

Well,it does allow harmless drivel from people like Nomadatnet which can be entertaining, but on the other hand it also allows less harmless drivel from some pretty strange people too.

Oh,and its allowed my rambles and random drivel without any suspensions so....Im really confused.Id have banned me for a few of my posts but conversley I hate rules and bannings for thought crimes.....arghhhhhhhh

Let's give a credit where the credit is due. When I look away from the latest changes I still like the forum. I met a couple of great people here, it helped me to deal with the worst bouts of homesickness and it is fairly entertaining.

Once or twice? Come come, Nomad, I bet you banged on about the monarchy ad nauseum just like you do here. I was a life-long republican before I started reading your stuff. Now there's a thought. Is Nomad a subtle monarchist agent-provocateur?

I got to say I joined a while ago just to take part in some topics and occasionally read some stuff, but like with many forums I have joined, I expected my post count to decrease slowly until I eventually leave. It has not happened. Yes occasionally I am away for a while, but I always return to check what is going on. It is one of my regulars as far as daily websites to check go [you know what I mean I am sure you have yours]. Is anyone else surprised to still be here as long as they are or have any of you seriously considered leaving, or even left, only to return again?

I left and came back, but a few of my threads still seem to pop up regularly - five years later :0

Merged: In love with Poland (I'm from Peru). This site is very interesting!

Hello !!! I'm new in this site. I don't want to make my story long but since my first visit to Poland I fell in love with the country. I have started learning polish a month ago and hopefully I will work there next year :). I'm from Peru but I live in Spain and I'm constantly going to Poland. I found this site and I find it very interesting, also as I don't know too many polish people yet it would be nice to meet some friends here who can help me with polish and can also give me some advice on where to go next time in Poland :).

Hope to hear from you !!!
