Real Estate / Building a house in Poland need advice from anyone that has built [100]
There are different types of concrete floors.
We have just had a floor replaced. Wood for concrete. Steel girders (RSJ's), pre-cast slabs, polystyrene layer, concrete screed.
After dropping the old floor it took two days to finish the new one... couldn't walk on it for the next couple of days though.
To do this yourself would require the expense of lifting tackle and experience.
Think about how you would build a pitched roof with roof lights and provision for chimney.
Windows will probably be plastic (pvc) frames. When you order the windows, fitting is usually/can be part of the contract.
Some parts of your project will, as SeanBM says, be much cheaper, if you call in the experts.

At the moment it's jeans and long coat weather. A lot of the hats and scarves are back in the cupboard though.

Brilliant advice. Use a metal spoon and stick it in the live socket. It won't do much for your appliance, but it might curl your hair.

I did something similar the other day. subject Euro 2012. With Wroclaw stadium due for completion next year... and the fact that the stadium is no more than a drawing on a piece of paper at this point in time... the general response about those in authority was more negative than you might believe. It's sad, but true.
I dare you to walk into a resturant and strike up a conversation with someone polish and say that.. see the response you get..

My opinion: Putting someones name on the internet, under these circumstances, is not good form. I understand your reasons though.

Go to the (British) national archive website. There are twenty-five records concerning Blykawica. You may have to pay to open the files.
If you are in the UK... it might be possible to access and search the records at Kew. But it could be a wasted jouney.
As the ship served and saw action as part of a British contingent... you might be better off at a British based WWII website. The experts there should be able to give you links to get you started.
