control of the Russian-Ukrainian border in that part of the country.

Which would remove the Russian invaders from Don bass. Unless they wanted to extend their 'holidays'

Merged:

Will the Zadpad war games end quietly.

Tomorrow the large "Zapad-2017" war games will pit the troops of Russia and Belarus against terrorist infiltrators from three "hypothetical" Eastern European countries. Some sources report that 100,000 soldiers will take part in the exercises, Russia has already started to block access by Nato observers allegedly. Could this end in Russia leaving soldiers and military equipment in Belarus and a return to a real cold war?

Russia cannot defeat Ukraine and he won't attach the Baltic's because he will get his yellow-livered arse handed to him on a plate.

Never say never.
U.S. (NATO) costs and losses in a war with nuclear Russia would be catastrophic.
Such a war in Ukraine is unwinnable, and it is not worth sacrificing American lives to wage and Putin is very aware of this.
Putin has been waiting patiently for an opportunity like he has now with a "diaper dandy" U.S. president at the helm.
My prediction is that the U.S. will not spill American blood in this one.

One American life is too high a price to pay to save one million of any foreign scum. The day, the US finally kicks the Euro-holes and the Japs off its military welfare I will drink myself to death.

Try to explain why it's just another training exercise (Russia's official explanation), or how Putin and Russia have been provoked by the aggressive expansion of NATO westward, and why the Budapest Memorandum wasn't legally binding, or how Ukraine has always been Russian anyway, so why shouldn't they just snap it up and something about spheres of influence.

Will Poland be next ?
And with Russia's allie Iran getting very close to becoming a nuclear country, things are going to heat up very fast.

things are going to heat up very fast.

They are already. Russia seems to be waiting for a cassus belli.

Events in Ukraine over the next three months will probably be key to it all.

Russia seems to be waiting for a cassus belli.

They already have it - pussified West and a feeble clown in the White House. What else would he want? Ukraine bombing Moscow?

Russia seems to be waiting for a cassus belli.

Or a casus foederis.
Either may be considered an act of war.
However, since Ukraine is not a NATO alliance, Putin will give the order for NATO to pull their military "trainers" out of Ukraine before he invades.

When they don't and NATO troops start getting killed it will become an "act of war."
God save us if that happens.

I have a better idea...Let's divide the world the way they did it in 1945 and let Russia do what it wants within its zone. Under Russia's occupation, that bs with the refugees at the gates would never happen.

Erm....that would put me back again into their zone....I would not like that!

I have a better idea.

It is not a better idea. It is a terrible idea. You sound like a paid Putin's stooge.

When they don't and NATO troops start getting killed it will become an "act of war."

He is counting you will pull off. If you stay put he will not go there. The only reason all this is happening is Afganistan and your Biden.

You sound like a paid Putin's stooge.

I sound like an American who is sick and tired of protecting idiots 5000 miles away.
I honestly don't give a damn what Putin and the Euros do as long as no American lives are lost and no American money is spent.

I hope this clears things up.

He is counting you will pull off. If you stay put he will not go there.

Europe is rich enough and brave enough to stand on its own. You, guys, have two nuclear superpowers, so you don't need us.

The only reason all this is happening is Afghanistan and your Biden.

Biden is an old fool and a traitor but even old fools and traitors can be right once in a while. He was right to pull out of that sh*ithole.

You are welcome to go back if you wish.

It is simple if you don't protect NATO members 5000 miles away you will have to protect Key West. Few years in the future.

My prediction is that the U.S. will not spill American blood in this one.

It also wouldn`t spill it under Trump who had good relations with Putin.

Yes, but it was nothing like the bromance between Putin and your beloved hero Tusk.

bromance

Do you know when the photos were taken?

Yes, during the Tusk regime.

Tusk

hahaha In another thread you accused another poster of playing mind games. You forgot to mention you are a maniacal player yourself - your last post is a good example of pretend ignorance game.

So, I am sure you know what had happened before their hug. Why don`t you want to tell us, darling?
Don`t be shy, tell us. ..... You will feel relieved.......:):):)

Yes, during the Tusk regime.

Indeed, Tusk met frequently in person and for a wide variety of occassions with his pal Putin.

Certainly more than Trump ever did.

A lot more!

The smiles, handshakes and relaxed body language say it all!

So, I am sure you know what had happened before their hug.

No, but I have a very good hunch.

What can you as a card-carrying, unrepentant PRLer tell us about the relationship between your hero Tusk and a certain STASI agent in Pomerania who went by the codename "Oskar"? :):):)

Of course. Tusk is Kashub, a Serb. We Serbs are realistic.

We will help official Poland also become realistic. We need normal cooperation with Russia in interest of us all.

so americans wouldnt send a soldier from texas to defend kiev but why would they warsaw in that case?

Let the Americans keep their hands away from the Slavic world. We Slavs have capacity to organize ourselves.

The smiles, handshakes

Common for political leaders at official meetings. Didn`t your beloved hero Trump meet Chinese leaders with smiles and handshakes? I could show you very intimate photos but I don`t want to pollute this thread..... :):)

No, but I have a very good hunch.

Tell us, then. Release this very good hunch. Are you able to quit your narcissist mind games for a while or not? :):):)

What can you tell us

No, darling, we are still waiting for you to tell us more about the hug you posted.

Darling, you are a veritable dwarf compared to Tusk - your spit would reach only as high as his shoe tops. Most of it would land back on your face. hahahaha

I would.not.trust Tusk.as far as.I could.spit.on him.

Scary logic. You would go complaint to Greeks and Italians? To Pope of Rome and Patriarch of Constantinople? To Prince Charles of London? To Grand mufti of Mecca and Medina?

Where is your heart, sad man? Not in Poland, not in Slavic world.

so americans wouldnt send a soldier from texas to defend kiev but why would they warsaw in that case?

Culturally America doesn't care about Ukraine or Poland.

But America does care more about Ukraine than Poland for other reasons.

Ukraine and its political stability and territorial integrity are more important to the United States for economic reasons. That's been the case for decades since the fall of communism.

This was laid out by a think tank in Washington DC over twenty years ago and you only need follow the news from time-to-time to see that this interest has not gone away.

Caspian Oil, the United States, and Ukraine

"The potential for energy wealth has already led Clinton administration officials to class Central Asia and the Caucasus as a region "vital" to the United States. Washington hopes that the development of natural gas and oil there will lead to reduced reliance on Middle Eastern suppliers for both the United States and its European allies."

Not Poland but Polish rightist rulers who are lost in foreign politics like kids in the foggy forest. . Don`t mix these two things.

Really? it is funny you forgot the political heritage of Zbigniew BrzeziƄski so easily.

Everything now points to February. Around the time of the Winter Olympics. Aside from that, much depends on the strength of the Ukrainian government and their level of credibility, especially in Kharkiv and Odessa.

The Russians are threatening Ukraine but they are too weak to take on the West.
Putin will only attack if he is confident that the West does not have the stomach for war.
This is a game.of chess and unfortunately the Russians are good at chess.
