Love / Polish men like Latin girls? What do u find attractive in a girl physically & emotionally? [29]

Mexican boys are stupid (without offending, but it's true). i'm Mexican, yeah, but mexican boys have a very narrow chauvinist mind: if you go and break the ice you're desesperate.

Not just Mexican.

And not just Boys.

Most Latin Americans (Boys AND Girls) think on that stupid and pathetic way. The girl and the boy needs to play games and fake that they want another thing that it is not what they really want and blablabla. I was so tired of playing games.

In the beginning it is even interesting, like chess. But then after some time you just get TIRED.

By the way, it is very common Polish Men date Latin girl. I think that it is a very common Inter-continental pattern for poles outside.

Life / Are foreigners welcome in Poland? [267]

I was very welcome in Poland.

Polish people was one of the most welcoming that i met in all countries that i visited in almost every continent of the world.

I Think that most of foreigners will be also welcome.

Except if you are someone trying to change their culture, disrespect the woman and impose Sharia Law there like they are doing in France or England. Than you will not be respected. And you dont even DESERVE to.

Life / Do the Poles have a positive attitude towards the Danes and Denmark? [16]

So good that Denmark doesnt changed into a Muslim State like Sweden (or Swedenistan)...

speisa.com/modules/articles/index.php/item.574/swedish-school-bans-the-swedish-flag.html

The prompt isn't about Islam or Muslim people in Denmark, so please return to the topic

Study / Polish schools and Polish educational system level in your eyes [135]

The University of Economics of Katowice have an agreement with my University in Brazil (USP, the best university of Latin America) and they have world class reputation.

Jagiellonian and Warsaw University also have good reputation.

I Think your parents were extremelly exagerated to say Poland is a S*** Country.

Is this kind of BAD immigrant that creates racism! People start to think that all Immigrants are Lazy money leechers instead of hard workers.

CUT GOVERNMENT BENEFITS To ALL FOREIGNERS! Ps: I Am not pole.

Work / Suggestions for starting a business in Poland ( I have 50/60,000 USD ) [59]

Guys, thanks for all the suggestions, but i am asking specifically about Hotels/Tourism related business because i have years of experience on that, which is important.

If i opened a supermarket i would put all that knowledge on the garbage.

Thanks :)

orget buying property you cant even rent/renovate/furnish/pay deposit and rent for that place.

Pigsy, in one of my experiences, i helped a hostel to be open in Vancouver with 60 beds using 72 000 USD (43 000 of initial investment + 19 000 of working capital for the first 3 months). Rented property, obviously, but almost every hostel in the world is with rented place.

So you are saying that Poland is more expensive than Canada?

Of course it isn't more expensive than Canada. But it seems you cannot even do simle market research and compare rent prices...

As i said, it is a brand new idea to be started just in the middle of 2016, so i am still triggering data for Market Research. I just came here (and on another places) to have some insights of promising cities. After that i will look for the rent prices (of course i know the rent levels at Krakow or Warsaw, but i have no idea of Katowice, for example).

Your problem is going to be less deciding which city and more finding a suitable property in any city.

I Was thinking about that.

I am trying to find locations on internet to have an idea of prices, but all sites are in Polish-Only version (no need for unpolite observations about the fact that this is obvious, i know) and google chrome is terrible to translate polish-english or polish-portuguese.

How can you compete with other budget hotels and their vast resources.

Technically hostels doesn't compete with budget hotels, they are much cheaper. Eg: 20 zloty per night to sleep in a room with 5 other people at a Hostel, while a budget hotel charges 3 times more than that.

I'm sorry to say this, but the above plus your lack of any experience in what life in Poland looks like in winter makes your idea completely not doable.

I lived in Poland..
(I Dont speak polish yet, because it is an incredibly difficult language for Latins, our grammar/phonetic is very different from Slavic one)

You'll need a Polish partner who has at least some experience in building anything in Poland to start thinking about that.

I have a polish partner, with a good understanding of Polish Law (but no understanding of tourism industry, which is my function hehe).
But also him doesn't know cities outside the three bigger ones (Warsaw, Lodz and Krakow), so we are seeing for some undiscovered places.

It's really 5min to roughly compare rent prices in major Polish cities. If you know price levels in Kraków and Warszawa, then tell us are they cheaper than Vancouver's or more expensive?

1st: Why so much bitterness Monitor?

2nd: In Which part of " I Dont Speak Polish yet" you didnt understood?

3rd: Cheaper. But as i said, i dont know the other cities, just Krakow and Warsaw. Anyway, thanks for your images, i will try to translate them.

but it is WITHOUT a cost of buying/renting a property"

Hi!
Thanks for your advice!
I am not thinking about buying a property.

The option that i have is an investor buying a property that is suitable for the business, agree with the needed reforms and then rent it to me at market value.

So those 60K USD would be for:

1 - Furnishing
2 - Adequations to abide the building to the law (like emergency exits, things like that)
3 - Rent (Do in Poland i also need to pay 2 months in advance like in another countries?)
4 - Etc

Another question that i have:

Since just my partner speak Polish, do i really need to speak polish to start this business? I am starting it but i fear that until the end of 2016 it will not be possible.

Love / ACCEPTABLE modest wear for Polish women? [49]

in Poland and most western communities, there are people from all kind of religious backgrounds.

BS. Poland have 98% of Christian Population. As much homogeneous as Saudi Arabia. So you have no rights to use your double standards.

If you love your fiancee you should accept HER style and hope that she learns to accept your feelings and perhaps adapts her style - rather than expecting het to fit into a "matrix" that you created for her.

Exactly what i think! Who gives the right to a MAN decides and ENFORCE the way that her girl should dress in a free society like Poland?

SHE Should decide that!!!! Not him!!!

And the most scary thing is that this guy said, in another thread, that his girlfriend is polish.

nothing new. Unfortunately, USA turned to be global problem.

Oh Crow, go look for therapy with that obsession that you have with USA.

Dictatorship lovers usually hate USA, nothing unusual.

Life / Safety to live in Bialystok, Poland? [28]

When i was living in Poland, i spend some time there.

Bialystok is a beautiful and good city. Cold even in the summer.

But be aware of one thing: Almost no one older than 30 years there speaks english.

Life / Safety to live in Bialystok, Poland? [28]

and it's safety?

Yes, it is pretty safe.

How hot do you like it? It can be over 30C in July.

Well, i was talking about my personal experience, obviously. I was there in July and during the day was below 20 degrees, during the night around 7.

That's true. Then again, why should they?

I never said that they should. I just warned the guy.

Work / Translation Company in Poland - would it be profitable here? [12]

Good Morning Everyone!

I would like, again, to ask for your advice :) As some of you know, i plan to open a business in Poland in the beginning of 2017. But while i will need to wait for the building be prepared and other things, i was thinking:

I Speak fluently Portuguese (Native), Spanish, English and French, and i am learning Arabic.

Would be profitable if i opened in Poland a translation company? Besides english (probably a saturated market) are there demand for translations from those other languages to Polish?

PS: I have a polish partner to help with the bureaucracy.

Yes, i am not optimistic. Actually this would be just during the meantime until my real business is open, less than 6 months. I am a very productive person so wait all day long the time to pass is terrible. So more like a profitable hobby.
