Polish ppl love to talk in superlatives, 'the best', 'the longest', 'the most ......' etc without showing any evidence of any of this

Can't buy some badly-needed **** here (like a desk fan, for instance. Neither Tesco nor LeClerc seems to stock them. Neither does RTV.)
Oh, and the beer sucks.

It was a Slavic settlement at first. It was a German city for about 700 years. The Germans were really the ones who developed it and grew it in size and importance (same with Szczecin.)

We're going to have to agree to disagree. I am pretty selective in my beer-tastes, but Anglo-Irish beer is some of the finest brews, with lots of variety.

Ship them via regular mail. Also, if there is a bus driver going from UK to Krakow, you can give them to him and pay a courier's fee. That usually works.
