Can someone tell me about the reason behind being gay in Poland being wrong

my brother is gay but in Scotland very open about sexuality but my friend who is Pole has cousin who is gay and lives happy over here because it was not accepted in Poland i presume x

It stems from Catholicism and an overly judgemental attitude. Some people just can't leave things alone. If it isn't white and straight, it's trash! That kind of nonsense is prevalent! I've known gay men and have thought nothing of it. I actually went to a gay bar with all the straight guys from my school (one was gay). It was a bit uncomfortable in moments but generally was a laugh. They make for good dancers :)

It was quite amusing to see women flirt with them. I can't imagine what runs through their minds when they start getting turned on by a handsome gay guy. Maybe, 'why did I bother starting this?' :P

I can imagine that being amusing :) Well, it all depends where you set your standards. I don't see why gays in Poland should feel bad. It's just how they are.

Getting gay contacts in Poland is hard as one of the teachers here tried it. Still, he found a loyal helper who put 'meat' his way. It was discreet so harmed nobody. It's not like he was getting it on in public.

Scottish people are more law abiding. Polish people get rowdy more and forget about law, this includes all of the popuylation, and when a gay person has the unfortunate bad-luck to come across a rowdy Pole who happens to be hating on people ...... that is the answer

I'm always wondering how good or bad people might get after knowing if a person is homosexual,
Do people in general accept it at school,, work,.of generally in their group/ society?

I'm trying to understand better polish people to make my life better in this country :)

Well, we generally don't push homo off the roofs like some other guys do...

It's just like most other places. If people have a strong opinion against other people's personal lives then that tends to come as part of a package with all sorts of other baggage.

Educated urban people tend to hold different views to less educated people with a more parochial outlook. Same everywhere.
