Exactly.
Kaczyński has always strongly believed PiS has to control the judiciary. He tried to faithfully follow the pattern of accumulating whole power practised by communists before. Dependent courts with intimidated judges were one of main prerequisites of totalitarian systems.

However, history repeats as farce. Kaczyński`s atrempts are farcical - judges don`t want to obey him and PiS. What a pity. :):)

No, he didn`t. Just like other Western politicians who have usually shown incredible naivety when dealing with various Eastern dictators.

Robust, honest state institutions? So why has PIS scored so many failures and scandals in so many branches?

E.g, : PiS ruined famous and profitable studs. The main reason - they replaced old professionals with PiS loyal supporters or politicians who knew nothing about keeping horses. In result, studs which generated good income in the past today need state financing.

I forgive you your infantile words coz you don`t know what you say and do. I only hope it is pure naivety of yours, not bad will or pro-PiS propaganda.

What don`t you know then?
Firstly, it is commonly known that most patients diagnosed for serious cancer are doomed in Poland coz there is not enough money to refund expensive medicine. 2 billion additional funds could save many lives.

Secondly, state media, especially TV, has been entirely taken over by PiS who use them to spread the dirtiest propaganda which is on the same level or even worse than the one in communist times.

I once fancied having such palms in my garden but they didn`t survive the first winter. Later I found a gardening forum where they explained how to protect the plants - incredible methods, including Christmas tree lights wrapped around the palm to keep them warm.
