Secondly, a walk to such a shop often turns into a social occasion coz you can meet your friends at the shop and have a small chat with them. You can even find a hidden bench and drink your beer together on it. Having beer delivered to your dorstep is for utter unsociable lazies. Not many Poles are like that.
