In case of Dirty Dozen, a few lasted about 10 years. I remember watching it in the cinema in late 1970s while it had been made in late 1960s.

Not really. The last time I drove to school through snow tunnels higher than my car was in 2002. I arrived at the school and kissed the door knob coz the facility was closed that day due to elements. They hadn`t notified me about the closure.
I read an article claiming that the more snow in the USA, the less of it in Poland. Ocean currents are involved in this phenomena.
