almost 40 per cent of adult Polish population is part of a cult? interesting thought - however i do not concur - as I don't worship PiS and Kaczyński (but I never had and never will vote for PO, PSL or SLD mafias)

it's old news I know, but..

in July in a public speech in Szczecin Donald Tusk claimed that in fact the 500+ programme was the idea of his party and that Ewa Kopacz was working on introducing it:

the thing is Ewa Kopacz publicly stated that: "there is no money for the 500+ programme and there won't be" (she said the same thing as Jacek Rostowski former PO finance minister: polskatimes.pl/jacek-rostowski-pieniedzy-na-realizacje-obietnic-pis-nie-ma-i-nie-bedzie-video/ar/9019491

what you stated by the above is just nonsense - maybe you perceive the service industry gone because you work in tourism (and foreign at that) - if that's the case it is just your narrow personal perspective

edit: ok - you're right actually - i wasn't reading carefully - you are probably right about the EU money and Polish boom

getting a work in Poland in the fields you mention without decent knowledge of Polish might prove impossible unless you are part of a gang with a foreman who can communicate in Polish - you can try Uber though but maybe they prefer Indians

senat votes it down then what's needed to override that, simple majority or 2/3?

regular bills only need a simple majority to dismiss the senate's disapproval

PiS buying voters with 500+ is just another example

about half a million of Polish children missed on eating a lunch every day before 500+ was started - also the money that was given to people went straight into the market causing a virtual economic boom
