The guy had to make a lot of difficult choices in his life but he had brains and balls, and - most importantly - huge love for Poland in his heart.

Ok, I feel like I'm in an alternative universe. I have to agree with you again!

I generally think there was a big part of society that tried to do the best for Poland, let it be as policeman, prison staff, military.

single, a good Catholic with a decent stable job in insurance, university-level education, 35 years old, no long love life history, he had one, unrequited love - a sad story - and that's pretty much it.

He sounds lovely but despite the fact I'm not interested would you really wish me on a 'good Catholic'? :)

No, there really isn't. I was always curious about outsider's look on Poland. I have books about it, I read articles, watch videos etc.

I also translated quite a lot for people here. Just for fun, imagine that.

And what do you think? Anyone here is hoping that 'posting on PF' will make a difference on their visa application for US? Seriously?

The new government could make new law that would replace the unconstitutional one, but it would be vetoed by pro-PiS president Duda

I think they should at least try. This is not a good start.

and deemed unconstitutional by the Constitutional Tribunal in 2016.

Did you manage to take anything with you?

I wasn't at home so no, I couldn't take anything. The police knocked on the door ( more banged from what I heard) and said everybody has to leave. They didn't drag people out but pre assured and waited. So they were able to grab keys, maybe wallet but that's all.

Day, about 11-12. At about 4 the police knocked and said please leave immediately.

It was a commercial building so I think they were worried about fumes and things blowing up.

Giving wrong visibility. Saying they are on the right course when they weren't...

Definitely it seems majority lies on the Polish side but Russians were incompetent.
