Come on, does it really matter when or where it was used? What matters is it was successfully used by PiS against PO in 2005. Today, PO is paying beautiful for fair - pięknym za nadobne. Isn`t it perfectly all right, Gumishu???? :):):):)

it was not used by PiS as an election agenda - it was dug out by mainstream media to discredit PiS - Tusk assured that his grandpa never was in Wehrmacht - then it turned out he actually was - later Tusk claimed (perhaps rightly, but how do we know) he had never know his grandpa was in Wehrmacht - what was meant to drag down PiS turned against Tusk.

PO bierze pod stołem kasę na kampanie wyborcze od Krauzego i Stokłosy, a wyborcy PO to półinteligenci.
Taki żarcik.

You have your version, I stick to mine, which is the following:
Jacek Kurski, PiS leading activist, announced that Tusk`s grandfather volunteered to Wehrmacht.

Kurski admitted it was a humbug that was meant to topple Tusk.

PO bierze pod stołem kasę na kampanie wyborcze od Krauzego i Stokłosy, a wyborcy PO to półinteligenci.
Taki żarcik.

Poor joke. I didn`t laugh. My sense of humour is more refined. :):):):)

yeah sure delude yourself - if you could laugh at your own Budapest joke - then no - your sense of humour is pretty daft

btw mine was not a joke - just a simple insinuation - perhaps yours was a joke appart from being a hidden insinuation but not a refined one in my book

Ooops, I can see you are getting a bit tired. :):):):):):)

Isn`t it time to go to bed? :):):):)

See you today!

Wish me the best on Teacher`s Day! :):):):)

if you could laugh at your own Budapest joke -

BTW, it wasn`t my joke, but the Saviour`s.

Looks like PO treacherously manipulated the public into:

lol. that's the only explanation a PIS supporter would be able to come up with(:

Sorry, I forgot

It doesn't seem to work, can you provide a better version.

Motto of the week:

- So we wait for Kościuszko. Jarosław Kaczyński must become Kościuszko, he must gather all the people, make them a political offer and lead them to insurrection

- Wojciech Cejrowski, fronda.pl

Fronda Proclamation:
October 2 - the heroic Resistance fighter Wojciech Cejrowski, observing the mortal danger facing the Fourth Republic, caused by rigged election of all sorts of junkmen, sodomites, homosexuals and transvestites to the puppet Parliament of our tormented Motherland, proclaims a nationwide insurrection, which leader is - and this is the obvious obviousness - the steadfast and charismatic leader of the Resistance, Miraculously-Survived-Chairman-Prime Minister-Almost-President Temporarily-Altered Jarosław Kaczyński--Kościuszko. At this signal, all locally acting forges begin to forge hundreds of thousands of upright war scythes provided by Righteous Wolaks and the other true patriots. At the same time the TV studio Trwam begins preparation for the casting to Bartosz Głowacki.

keeping it very decent as they didn`t lie as much as PiS.

nobody lies that much as PO pawian, they lie even in their sleep.

As for election all of you forget that there were 15% invalid votes. I think that is a very interesting phenomena worthy of a close inspection.

By the way pawian, I don't care about PiS, if I appear that I do is only because for me said party is an obstacle for current establishment in Poland.

I'm against all that shortsighted, egoistical, stupid and not-Polish-like clique.

he should stick to travelling. Politics is not his forte;)

interesting that you of all people say that;). You don't even live in Poland.

Motto of the week:

with these words (and quoting out of context) you actually prove you are completely unable to grasp more abstract political concepts or you are totally bent on malicious disparaging of all political movements you happen not too agree with

According to the PKW, there were around 3.5% of invalid votes. Is this 15% line just another lie spread by Gazeta Polska to stupid people who can't even check the PKW site?

Slight difference between 5% and 15%, don't you think?

Australia's last election saw 5.6% invalid votes.

Apparently a high percent of invalid votes is normal in a proportional representation voting system.

Anyway, historically, it seems that anything between 3-6% of spoiled votes is 'normal' in Poland.

I'll pass on this and let you recover from your low personal attack, gumishu. I quoted the man exactly as I read him, and exactly as he wanted to be read. This is not about politics. This is about idiocy which just waits to be ridiculed.

quoting without context is misquoting - and you know it very well

So, here is Cejrowski's wider context, fronda.pl/news/czytaj/tytul/cejrowski:_kaczynski_musi_stac_sie_ kosciuszka__16084:

Cejrowski compares Palikot's election result with the success of Lepper. - The attitudes of both Lepper and Palikot are reminiscent of Jakub Szela's.(*) This is the worst possible motivation of angry people who will slaughter throats of anyone on their way. It would be preferable for such angry groups to be managed by Kościuszko, not Szela.

- So we wait for Kościuszko. Jarosław Kaczyński must become Kościuszko, he must gather all the people, make them a political offer and lead them to insurrection.

(*)en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jakub_Szela

So now tell me in what way I quoted him out of context. Go ahead, try.

And when you are done I'll point out that comparing your political opponents to Jakub Szela, eager to slaughter your throats - does not matter whether it is meant to be a parable or not - is very low, unacceptable, rude and stupid. And in this context, the second paragraph sounds even worse than before, because it suggests syphoning that angry energy of apparently abnormal people via insurrection - against whom? State, government, PO?

In a wider context, Cejrowski suggests use of force, after PiS lost its battle via legal means. And if he did not exactly mean it, than he is doubly stupid and he should think twice before opening his mouth. Until he does it I reserve the right to ridicule him anywhere, anytime.

the problem with you is you read everything literally - care to consider that maybe Cejrowski was using insurrection in a figurative meaning and not a bloody violent occurance - if you can't imagine this is what Cejrowski actually meant you are damned and stuck biased and prejudiced - well it's your choice - to make your day brighter i can only tell you there are millions like yourself in Poland

and yes those people who voted for Palikot are angry - they are often blinded by the hate for the Roman Catholic Church in Poland - I guess you never met such people or never read what they write on the internet - and well they are actually very easily manipulated cause they don't see more serious problems than the state sponsorship of the RCC - finally if you ask me I am against this sponsorship but first things first

The guy makes his money by coming out with stuff like that. A clown whipping up ire amongst the inadequate.

those people who voted for Palikot are angry - they are often blinded by the hate for the Roman Catholic Church in Poland

More often disillusioned and preferring to fund a religious body through choice rather than taxes. For those who actually do hate the RCC there's a party just for them - APP-Racja.

Gumishu:
I stand by my original motto, which was meant to be funny. And yes, whatever the man meant, it really sounds stupid - both figuratively and literally. And I just saw a video of an angry, irrational crowd, at the presidential palace - "blinded by their hate etc, etc." Yes I see well what both irrational sides write all over internet.

"you can't imagine this is what Cejrowski actually meant you are damned and stuck biased and prejudiced" - thank you for you free psycho-bable advice, but I have all my faculties around me. I just dislike idiots playing gurus.

Well, pawian what the difference whatever there were 15% or 5% invalid votes, nobody cares anyway. The question asked by many people in Poland - WTF? Who voted PO ?Thats interesting/

Can anybody remind of the four stages again? I believe that denial comes first, and acceptance comes last. It seems as though you haven't moved on from the first stage(:

The first statement:

As for election all of you forget that there were 15% invalid votes. I think that is a very interesting phenomena worthy of a close inspection.

And then the statement after the truth is pointed out:

Well, pawian what the difference whatever there were 15% or 5% invalid votes, nobody cares anyway.

So, were you lying when you said that you think it is a very interesting phenomena or were you lying when you said that nobody cares anyway?

More often disillusioned and preferring to fund a religious body through choice rather than taxes.

Like myself. Why the hell should I work and pay social insurance just to fund a bunch of guys who like wearing dresses?

The amount of money that the RCC has extracted from Poland is astonishing.

care to consider that maybe Cejrowski was using insurrection in a figurative meaning and not a bloody violent occurance - if you can't imagine this is what Cejrowski actually meant you are damned and stuck biased and prejudiced

He might have meant it that way and not in a literal way. However, the kind of people that will respond to his words from among PiS supporters are the ones who will take it literally.
