Is there such a thing as trans-nationality/ethnicity? Like when somebody was e.g. born and raised Polish, from both Polish parents, graduated from a Polish university but is now under delusion of being an American?

I never changed my nationality. It says "Born in Poland" in my US passport.
I wish I could delete it and dump my Polish language with it but I was told that the surgery would be too risky and very expensive.
