The right to own guns: would you support such legislation in Poland?

I wonder if Paulina would use a gun, if she had one in her hand, on a rapist while he was raping her little sister?

Of course I would use it - I would point a gun at him and tell him to get away from her and if he didn't listen or would charge at me I would blow his head off. And I don't have a little sister, btw.

that our kids don't get SHOT DEAD in schools in freaking mass shootings.

Exactly. We don`t need it. Let Americans keep their guns and worry if their kids survive another day at school or university.

lol seriously ,by the time he has made twins outta ya sister, the problem with you euros is that you are warning while yanks take it out to shoot( not yo scare)l and stop the crime and not to maime( less law suits too)

Taking out and pointing your firearm is not a joke or warning it means business. Its not a water gun it means results unless you are a law enforcement and do that for ya safety.

@Cargo pants, sure, and you "yank" could kill your sister in the process, "genius". It's good that you're not a police officer.

Who needs your permission? Nobody cares what you have to say about anything that happens over here.

Let Americans keep their guns

Damn right, especially us Hillbillies North the 45 parallel and South of the Mason Dixion line.
Goofy wouldn't support legislation in fear of what he reads about schoolteachers being shot by their abused students.

And you want to throw guns into the equation.

You know, the more I think about the uncultured mentality of the Hooligans, crazy drivers, psychotic off the rail women and the amount of public alcoholism in Poland, giving guns to these unstable people might not be such a good idea after all.

Nope, what I mostly read about American school massacres is that psychos shoot and kill students.

guns to these unstable people

That`s what most Americans have become. You are psychos, potential or actual. . :):):)

Americans will NEVER give up their right to have guns.
This argument is pointless!
I happen to.think that they are wrong, but I know the American psyche.....
This debate is futile.

that psychos shoot and kill students.

And teachers and in your case it would be undisputable motive.
It makes perfect sense why you are so scared of private gun ownership in Poland.

That`s what most Americans have become.

I'd say no. Most of them aren't like these gun toting inadequates who want Poland to change gun laws.

Even their president doesn't agree with them.

Americans will NEVER give up their right to have guns.

If you look at the thread title it's not about that.

Americans can run their country as they wish. Poles seem to have a bit different ideas.
johnny reb 48 | 7,142

I'd say no.

Well of course you do, you train with guns for your self-defense but you don't want anyone else to tote one..
We call that a "hypocrite".

Even their president doesn't agree with them.

What president is that, America presently doesn't have a president.

Poles seem to have a bit different ideas.

Indeed. And low crime rates are a good thing.

but you don't want anyone else to tote one..

The law and society as a whole in Poland doesn't want proliferations of guns.

What suits over there (not that it suits at all given the number of mass shootings and other gun crimes) does not necessarily suit elsewhere.

And I don't train for 'self-defence'.

America presently doesn't have a president.

It does.

And I don't train for 'self-defence'.

Do tell Slppery joun.
Then what do you train with guns for since you don't hunt ? :-o

The law and society as a whole in Poland doesn't want proliferations of guns.

I can understand why now since the start of this thread and I have to agree, guns in the hands of hotheads and alcoholics is not a good idea.

why you are so scared

I am scared for my students. I don`t want them to be massacred like in the US.

Most of them aren't like these gun toting inadequates

I would like to believe you are right. However, some of them can be against guns but still are fekked up in the mind because of that common gun threat everywhere. They never know where the next mass shooting or massacre will take place. That is why so many come to Europe and settle here to feel the relief from the constant stress which eats them up alive while in the US . E.g, PolamKrakow.

Agreed. Euros should STFU about changing American gun laws and Americans should STFU about changing Euro gun laws.

There's a real paranoia there. I remember people being quite shocked because I walked to the shops there rather than drove. Their culture is very different and whereas they may feel it works for them, there isn't anything about it that appeals in Europe.

That simply isn't the case in Poland, Britain etc. There aren't any 'no-go areas' and very few people know anybody at all who has been shot.

No need to weaken the law in Poland; it works well.

Not in Poland anyways.

I remember people being quite shocked because I walked to the shops there rather than drove.

Rubbish, people that live within walking distance walk however in rural America like me who live 15 miles from the nearest store take our personal cars.

So much bigger and spread out than Europe is.

There's a real paranoia there.

If you aren't paranoid, you're not paying attention is our motto. :-)

within walking distance walk

This was the suburbs. Nobody walked, hardly any pavement even.

Not in Poland anyways.

Neither in Poland nor the UK. One of the many reasons that there are no calls for weaker gun laws.

This was the suburbs.

joun, b.s.
Tell us how far you walked to the nearest shopping center from your suburb.
(In miles)

nor the UK.

This has already been hashed out between you and Dirk here.
He proved you wrong hands down by posting pictures of those "No Go Zones" in London.
You lost that one too.
Now quit taking this thread Off-Topic AGAIN !

No no-go zones in Poland. If you say otherwise, you aren`t truthful.

Bollox!Americans don't walk anywhere, many of your roads don't even have sidewalks......

Anyway JR Jim, please answer my question. For about the sixth time of asking!
Why does America have so many violent drug addicts?

Bollox!Americans don't walk anywhere

Never in the better suburbs.

posting pictures of those "No Go Zones" in London.

He didn't since there aren't any

And gun crime is low, as it is in Poland.

This was the suburbs. Nobody walked,

So do tell us which suburb in America are you talking about that has shops that you walked to.
You've had 24 hours to google one.
What was the gun crime rate in this fantasy suburb ?
jon357 74 | 22,060

MYOB.

in Poland however, nobody needs to worry about armed criminals.

tell us which suburb in America are you talking about that has shops that you walked to.

Did you feel safe walking there or did you need a gun to shoot your way back home ?
What was the name of this fantasy suburb of what city, joun.

MYOB.

It is my business when you promote b.s. about my country here to mislead people.

in Poland however, nobody needs to worry about armed criminals.

Same where I live joun and with the truth be known is much safer than where you live.
