As an American living in another EU country that does not have the drivers licence exchange, I'm interested in getting a legit Polish licence the easy way...pay for it. Can anybody help me or point me in the right direction ?

You will find european policemen very helpful as they keep spares for needy drivers like yourself. Just visit a police station and explain that you want to buy a license. Offer 400euro's but be prepared to haggle.

Good Hunting.

as mentioned before, to get a Polish license you need to have a permanent address in poland and pass the written test, unless you get lucky and find a contact to buy one on the black market, which is increasingly harder..

Nope. Just go to the policestation and slap a few hundred Euro on the counter and tell them you want to buy a Polish driving licence. If they pretend to not understand what you mean even after an interpreter has arrived, it means you need to offer more money.

Are you sure? Sounds more like a fast way to Polish prison to me.

Not at all. If you find yourself being taken to prison that just means that your revised offer for a driving licence is too low and you need to wave more money in the faces of the policemen.

For a real good EU license try the newest EU countries. I hear its easy to get a license in Georgia or Armenia. Kazakhstan is also high on the list!

And after you've rotted in jail for a while, you just need to wave more money I expect.

Harry you wouldn't be a lawyer by any chance, offering to bail people out for 'loadsa money' ?

LOL

isn`t it possible to get the international drive licence? I guess it`s valid in Poland.... just Greece and Russia don`t accept that.

Most certainly not. Never wave money at judges, they consider that to be crass. Just put the cash into an envelope and hand it to them.

No. That would be illegal. I just advise people how best to put their money to use.

Hi. In Norway you can swap a drivers licence from a EEC country into a norwegian. Is there a way for my two boys to get a legitimate licence for mc and car?

Please answer me at frode@notoe.net

hay i don't know much about cars, hell i'm not even legal to drive anymore but if your from inside the EU i'm sure that there is a driving license you can get simply for those nations withinside the EU. I could be talking total you know what, however i've got plenty of friends from Poland, Czech Republic, Lithuania etc etc who can drive in the UK on their licenses

Hellp i live in sweden and i want to buy Motorbike licence the licence with no limits on the sort of power the bike have. but i want i to be legal not from the black market. becaouse when u change it from polish to swedish the Police will check with the polish police if the have that person in ther register hwo have got the license. and one more thing do you do a driver test in polen or just answering questings. and do you have to live there or you can go over there in the summer and do it.

You must take a theory test (i.e. answering questions) and a practical test (i.e. driving). You don't have to live here but you do need a registered address (which all hotels are supposed to get for you if you are there for more than five nights anyway).

ok but cant you just give them a bribe
Harry

Yes you can most certainly give them a bribe.

With your name and obvious level of intelligence, you'd really enjoy Polish prison.

I believe you can exchange any driver's license from an EU country for a Polish one without a test. The condition is to live more than 184 days/year in Poland.
