Travel / Poland in photo riddles [3134]

To Częstochowa which is not bloody but a place respected by most Poles, even non-believers.

Let's not get over-excited.

Law / Driver's licence - How to exchange British one to Polish legally? [34]

You probably need to go to your Starostwo and ask there, but without knowledge of Polish language you won't go far, I'm afraid.

I am from UK,I need a legit Driving license from any country

Start a course, pass the exams and voila.

Love / Virtual Relationship of an Asian girl with a Polish man [43]

She was Korean-Japanese however... daughter of one of your giants...

How bloody romantic. And the moral is: the higher you climb, the more sore your ar$e is when you fall down.

How the hell is anyone here supposed to know if he's serious ? Ask him, not 3rd parties.

Genealogy / Polish looks? [1462]

I don't think there are something like 'typical Polish looks' - in fact they may be deceiving. I'm staying in Scotland - and sometimes I'm taken for a Scot or a French :)

UK, Ireland / Britain... What the Poles did for us. [444]

I'm with welsh guy here. Although he doesn't like Poles too much, he's a taxpayer. And embarrassed should be native speakers who make mistakes in their own languages.

Love / Different relationship... can it work with Pakistani girl and Polish guy? [129]

Only you can really answer these questions.

I know an British-Indian guy with a Polish wife. They are happy.

And how many Polish men with Indian wives ? Somehow relationships between Asian men and Polish women seem OK to Asians, but I wonder how many are there partnerships of Asian women and Polish men really accepted by the Asians.

Off-Topic / PF - The Omnibus Edition [1502]

Congratulations, WB. Having a baby requires patience, responsibility, time, resources, determination and probably some more unpronounceable English words. That's why I probably will never be a daddy.

Happy birthday to all not mentioned in above Omnibus.

Life / If I could introduce something from my country into Poland, I would.... [175]

Ok, the UK is not my country, but I'd import from here:

- Prices of 4x4s (which seem to be heaps lower than these on the continent)
- Doubledeckers (although their upper floors sometimes are hives of asbo-scum and villainy)
- Strangers (an average stranger is much more likely to be friendly or at least not hostile)
- Motorways (not the secondary roads; the one I live at is peppered with potholes like a good ol' Swiss cheese and reminds me of Ye Olde Land when I try to dodge these bloody holes)
