Hey all..
I'm an asian girl who dates a polish man..
I actually never meet him in real life,,and we've been in a relationship from 2months ago by a dating site..[ he will visit me on next summer :-) ]

and because it is a long distance relationship,,i'm very often worried him that he will get interested on other girl [oh,,i wish not]

he is a family guy and i think that he is sweet on my family too [ he sing happy birthday on phone for my mom's birthday] ..

i feel like he is almost perfect for me eventhough i never meet him..

we communicate by msn everyday, and also sms..
sometimes i feel like he doesnt really care on me as he rarely send me sms in the day to ask what i'm doing or something like that..

but he often sms me in the day to say that he miss me..
and he always sms me directly right after he get up in the morning.

well,,i want to ask ur opinion about my relationship..

do you think he is serious on me [i mean not playing on me]?
is it a habit for polish guys for not taking care/worried of what their gf doing?
what should i do to make him more moreee love me [hehe] ?

well,,i want to ask ur opinion about my relationship..

I was in a relationship with an Asian girl. It didnt work...I even travelled to her country for her...

She had to marry an Asian... a business partner of her father. The situation was beyond everything. I had to return home... letting her live.

See... things can either work or not... no matter what you do. Depends on your comitment and preferences.

The emotional trauma I went through is something too individual to be able to express and understand.

She was Korean-Japanese however... daughter of one of your giants...

Long story... but here I am :) ... back working in my homeland... :) ... a new life.

How bloody romantic. And the moral is: the higher you climb, the more sore your ar$e is when you fall down.

How the hell is anyone here supposed to know if he's serious ? Ask him, not 3rd parties.

relationships like that never work.... you do not really know each other, even tho you talk online everyday... it's a waste of time... trust me, i know...

just go out and find a guy in a real life...

I'm having a virtual relationship with a millionaire, he's going to buy me a big house and a yacht...he just hasn't met me yet, so doesn't know it.

kinda seems so, yes. read around some of the threads in this forum and you'll also see why you got some of the responces you did.

what should i do to make him more moreee love me [hehe] ?

not one darn thing... not virtually anyway.

relationships like that never work.

i wouldn't say never but that's good advice.. this "relationship" seems like a long shot or a gamble... try reality instead of virtual one. it works out better most of the time.

Just telling the truth. Unless you know the answer - is he serious or not ?
To be continued after the break. Stay with us :)

There's a lot to be said for virtual relationships, you don't have to wash thier dirty socks and pants

Yup.
And she can always be silenced (takes just a click) and kids do well in school, and so many other benefits, such as... "so how old would you like me to be tonight?" ;)

"so how old would you like me to be tonight?" ;)

Are there any virtual laws against that?

Not sure. But even if... you'd be arrested by virtual cops, prosecuted in a virtual court and then possibly go to a virtual prison. All that while sipping coffee at the kitchen table in front of your laptop.

Dekameron,, he always send me sms when he just wake up in the morning and so do i, i also send him sms everytime i wake up..it is his idea to do this..

and he usually sms me once in a day after that morning sms..

but when i was travelling to another place and couldnt online,,he sent me much much sms..
he also called me once when my internet was broken..

elationships like that never work.... you do not really know each other, even tho you talk online everyday... it's a waste of time... trust me, i know...
just go out and find a guy in a real life...

well,,i dont really agree on this..eventhough 'maybe' we dont know each other yet,,i dont think that its a waste of time as i most of the time enjoy my and his time...

and about find a guy in a real life -- i want to -- but most men in my place are very fake attentioner,,i can feel that so much..

thanks a lot polishgirl..huff..i become more complicated now..haha

Wait i've just read the bit where you admit you've never met him, my lady i have a breaking news report, you are NOT in a relationship, there is no such thing as a purely virtual relationship.

When you meet him, get to know him and be with him for quite some time then you'll be in a relationship, untill then you're just two people who keep in touch and fancy one another.

if he comes there then you can see. that is the best. i used to live in asia and I understand the thinking. and it is different than the west but up to the point of meeting him in person and getting to know him like that you dont really know the guy. live your life, enjoy your internet connection with him but dont hold your breath

Yeah, keeping a virtual friendship is very convenient. You may have as many girl/boy/both-friends as you wish.

Hi Phi,
Reading your original post made the memories I had in the past flashing on my mind. I have an exact same experience. I live in Bali, Indonesia, he is a Polish who lived in Chicago, USA. But when I had the chance to go to USA, He was taking his mater in Poland. He flew from Poland to meet me in USA. After that, He flew to Bali, Indonesia to meet me again. Now I am here in Wroclaw, Poland, engaged, and live with him. We will get married after he graduate. Some virtual relationships last for long and have happy ending, although some just don't.

nb: hopefully yours have the happy ending too :)

Nothing wrong with virtual realtionships , they have as much chance of success as any other way of meeting people... Of course , the meeting face to face is the real test , but there is no harm in getting to know each other over the net , as long as both parties are truthfull it should work out ok...

Hi Phi, I am engaged with a Polish man but he lives in the US. We met on a dating website since the day I met him on the net we started taking everyday for five hours and then after four months he decided to meet me here in the Phil. we spend together for almost three weeks. A week before he goes back to US we got engaged. We talked everyday on the net or he calls me on my mobile. And he always makes sure that everything is fine with me, he is very supportive and undesratnding even on my ups and down. He supports me emotionally. Then after five months he came back for a visit for four months we stayed together visit my family. I can say that I found the man who really care and love me deeply in his heart. he is my bestfriend, my mentor and my partner. He is planning to visit me again this coming xmas if not this summer.
