Food / Is it possible to buy (particularly online) exotic meats in Poland? [4]

whether there are any shops

Yes. In Lidl you can find. But bear in mind - Its once in a while. Last week there was an offer for Lamb from New Zealand- I've been lucky myself to taste the meat from NZ again. Last year there was Kangaroo meat, Lamb meat, Octopus and Beef from NZ being sold in Lidl.

You also should understand that women of your nationality by any means do not belong to you.

Says the guy who couldn't get laid in Canada so he came to Poland knowing it would be easier here :-))

I would be first in the Q vs those guys he mentioned above.

Love / What do you like most about Polish girls? :) [120]

iiiiiiii love the accent ! it is adorabbbleee :)

You mean its funny to hear their accent! :P

They look amazing + hardly any fatties

Depends! I love a bit of meat on my plate! And some bouncing cleavage and some cute bum!

"Good" girls - they don't sleep around

they do. Know how to seduce them. ;)

They cook and clean haha

I cook better than 95% of the people I've met so far. And could confirm being more hygienic than those who's given me a chance to compare.

hmmm oh yeah and they are smart (really) I have met a lot of really educated girls with a lot to say

Depends on your educational level. Or people you have met before. for me they clearly can't compete with girls from the western part of Europe.

They look to me family oriented

True that! :)

the one about cooking and cleaning. It's the 21st century, that's not what women are for!

He was just explaining. He didnt say that he want them as his maids! If a woman is living alone, does it mean that she is not allowed to clean and cook...

Sorry for not being a gentleman, I like it rough

Law / Value ( € or PLN) of handmade painting on clothes [10]

You'll find in PL that people are very careful with their money when they buy clothes.

Yh, I know, hopefully there will be a bunch who will be interested in my products given that there is a lot of work behind it!

News / New Polish gambling law - outlawing gambling except in casinos [34]

I am with Bet365. They did a long check- calling me from the office in UK and asking me few security questions. I did not have to register a credit card nor make a deposit via paypal. And believe me, the odds for football are better than any sites.

Back to the question.

Do I need to pay tax on my wins? I am in Poland and the betting company is registered in UK...

As far as I know that on winnings like gambling, lottery, lotto, ect... you don't pay tax. but this is Poland.... So I don't know if they have the same set of rules.

Law / Value ( € or PLN) of handmade painting on clothes [10]

How long does it take.. 3-4 hours, depending on the drawing itself.
Material could cost around 50zl - 80zl depending on the drawing again.
It will be sold online - so distribution costs incurred by buyer.
Selling it only online (at the moment)
Target market would be people who uses garments. well, to be more specific- age range would be 10-40 years who would consume those goods.

Life / What is the best platform to sell items in Poland? [17]

Ebay doesn't let Polish citizens to sell just for Polish market

So it means that if I place an item on eBay.pl to sell, I don't need to place it on ebay.co.uk?

It's worth keeping Amazon in mind too

Yeah, but in Amazon, the procedures to sell is a bit complicated. And my items are not really electronics, rather textiles/ garments.

Life / What is the best platform to sell items in Poland? [17]

[Moved from]: Ebay.pl v Allegro.pl - Which one would people in Poland trust more?

Hello.

If you are in Poland, which one would you consider to buy it from? Whats the traffic for these two sites? Does Allegro has more customers than ebay.pl? And the diffenrence between the costs (incurred by the seller- without selling an item and after an item has been sold)?

Which one would people in Poland trust more and/ or do more business with?

Thanks

Love / Polish girls don't go for one night stands, is it true? [56]

My friend told me that polish girls don't go for one night stands, they usually want something permanent is it true??

Yes they do! I've had myself been lucky few times. and If not me, then one of my mates would surely land up with someone. dont stay too long with a chick dont willing to chat up. Krakow is the place of night clubs... and lots of chicks! you come from Swiss... spend some of your dough on expensive drinks! they would bend over easily.

Australia / Australian citizen wanting to go to Poland for as long as possible - needs Polish Visa [49]

As I said, the "foreign boy moves to Poland to be with Polish girlfriend" story rarely has a happy ending.

True! I've been through and saw my foreign friends having the same issue!

Our relationship is actually genuine and real and it is worth doing everything we can to be together permanently.

at 20... mmmm I was the same mate! Been there done that. Moving to another country because of a girl- it is not really a good idea- you can ask any of us (how has experience and how it ended).. i think you need ideas from your friends and families rather than us here. Because if the girl dumps you, then I don't know what will happen to you!

the fact that you moving to a new country which is not really similar to yours and on top the language will be your biggest enemy! Its gonna be hard mate! One thing- if you really want come over to Poland- dont do it because of a girl! Girls you will find plenty here. But think about YOUR future first!

Love / I am in a serious relationship with a girl i met on-line from Poland - advice needed [19]

by the end of the year i would move to Poland for her.

I just want a fresh start.

Mate! an advice! don't move to Poland or to any country only because of a girl! Specially a girl you never met!

Trust me! She is 20 and things can change a lot.

First, t
ake couple of weeks vacation and spend it in Poland.

Thats right! come over in the summer and spend few weeks here. get to know your girl and life here and then you make a decision! As I understood, you will put nearly everything on stake to come and live here.

Concerning girls, this is not a problem in Poland, but getting a job specially if you speak only English, would be hard!

Love / I have a crush on my boyfriend's Polish friend ( advice needed ) [33]

Most Polish guys I know, believe in the "bros before hoes" principle.

the other half do it a different way.

Other thing - there is a fat chance that your "Polish love" is a Roman Catholic.
Taking father away from children, being a "family crusher" is not something that would be treated lightly by the priest-confessor.

you mean to say that this never happened in Poland then. I don't think you should bring religion into it. Its not cool.

want him just to bang bang with him tho,

come on! just go for it! make yourself happy and see where you are after this. if you think that he is the man, then go for him, if not, go back with your little boy!

Love / Why should I support my partners sister and boyfriend? [23]

Never lived in the UK so why giving advices that could result in OP's trouble?

Please don't judge me when you know nothing about me. I don't want to make things personal here. This guy needs help and not your bull*hit!

no you are wrong, if he invited them in then they are not trespassing.

Ok. let's say its not. But after the invitation, now 'DAVIDUKGUY' you can write a letter addressing to this couple and request them to leave and give them a notice of one week. After 7 days have passed, you can enforce the law. Because the house contract (I am assuming) is under your name, and after a certain period of stay, your landlord can increase the rent and make you pay for all these days that the couple have been staying. English law isn't so broad, specially contract and tort!

Life / Going to Poland in a hijab - Polish people and Islam [154]

If you lived without the hijab for 10 years then nothing will happen if you take it off for a few days.

No offence. But this was FUNNY! haha.

Those trolls are getting more and more intelligent. I account it for the beneficial influence of PF.

Spot on! I don't think anyone in this modern world will leave the freedom of have an 'open' face and then decide to wear hijab on! thats bullo*cks girl! know how to write your story!

Love / Why should I support my partners sister and boyfriend? [23]

It might work in Mauritius but not in Poland.

Mate, please read from the beginning. The guy is in the UK and not in Poland. Secondly, it has nothing to do with Mauritius. could you speak sense sometime. Thanks. :)

They had his consent at the beginning.

Yeah, but it could be for a limited time. After that its called trespassing. Ok I can have guess staying at my place over a weekend, but if after the agreed period they don't move out, then it is actually a criminal offence according to English Law.

Am I right smurf?
