Love / Love without chemistry? (Asian in love with a Polish woman) [195]

i think what we gotta remember is that gg seems to come from a culture of arranged marriages where you dont exactly get to choose who you marry and you grow to like the person chosen. having spoken to a couple of indian ladies about this they told me there was a fair amount of guilt and honour (the parents of course) involved in making it work.

he is now incorrectly trying to apply this theory of people growing to like each other to women outside of his culture.

History / Polish history is 100% glorious [297]

We slant history in regards to native Americans and our treatment of them. Historians debate this a lot.

you're right...nearly, if not, all nations do it.

usa & australia - treatment of natives
turkey - armenians and removal of greeks
spanish - inquisition
germans - ww1/ww2

just to name a few.

go to any other forum for any other country and there will be patriotism.

Nobody likes the Czechs. The uncanny thing is - in the whole of Central Europe only the Czechs did not support the Holocaust. The only nation without an antisemitic tradition. Poland's friends actively participated.

Australia / HELP! Australian wanted to apply for Polish Passport via ancestory [51]

I've just called Polaron to find out what I would need to do in order to get a Polish passport and the first thing they will do is establish your eligibility.

sheesh, really. i was costed $100 for the eligibility and then around $1,000 for records and documentation a couple years back.

Travel / Starbucks in Wawel Castle, Krakow. Is this a joke or true? [42]

people go to Starbuck to sit there for hours, do work on their computers and so on. At least here. Cannot be done in other coffee shops.

probably why they're closing stores...in melbourne starbucks is usually frequented by internationals who dont know better.

Australia / Polish community in Sydney, Australia [93]

Sadly, not many of them passed the Polish language and culture onto their children. Most Polish-Australians today are second or third generation and don't speak Polish.

it was hard for them...my parents only spoke polish to me and that is all i knew up til i was 4 years old. then when i went out to play with aussie kids they had no idea what i was saying. from then on in they dropped the polish.

Love / Polish girls fall for Indian guys ? [217]

Shaher

i think you missed my point.

Maybe because they're already where they want to be - with a brand new passport, and all (?)

well, permanent residency via some stooge course in hairdressing or cooking. yes.

Although I agree with much of what you have said, can you prove (in any way, shape, or form) that Indians try to "leave using whatever loopholes or schemes [they] can"? Please provide evidence of high rates of marriage to European women or overstaying visas. Thank you.

INDIAN students are shunning Australia in the wake of the Federal Government's crackdown on the international education industry.

The number of Indians and other foreigners given visas to study in Australia has slumped in the wake of government moves to block easy access to permanent residency after courses are finished.

Concern had been raised about the tens of thousands of overseas students enrolled in so-called soft courses such as cookery and hairdressing.

A LOOPHOLE in Australia's skilled migration program has led to an eightfold increase in overseas students enrolling in cooking courses as a means of achieving permanent residency and a danger of a "race to the bottom" in wages, according to a Monash University study released today.

So basically you're saying that Indians, while exploiting the Austrialian system, are only following the law? That is legal. Why would anyone attempt to do something detrimental to their future?

your question was:

can you prove (in any way, shape, or form) that Indians try to "leave using whatever loopholes or schemes [they] can"?

nothing about legal, illegal or otherwise. therefore answered appropriately with facts.
