You know I asked one of my Polish friends why they hates Jews. The number one reason is truly because that's what they were taught or rather learned, but they also stated the Jews killed Jesus. I told them the Jews did NOT kill Jesus. It was the Romans, but they were instrumental in getting him crucified. The stated he had performed blasphamy under Mosaic law. But the Jews did not have the power to execute him.

There was nothing but silence in the room when I stated this fact which meant to me they knew and believed the same thing, but chose to go along with learned behavior.

You know I have a good friend in Texas who is a police officer and I asked him could a pedophile be rehabilitated. He told me in his honest opinion he believes they will always have it because it is psychological; however, he believes that if a person does want to get better...they can use the tools taught to them not to hurt children. He said it is a disease...something triggers them to hurt children, but if they realize when they are about to do it, then they can better control themselves, but as far as a cure...he does not believe there is one. I live off of Austin and Belmont. When I moved here I had no idea I was in a Polish neighborhood. I just liked the place I chose to live...and then I asked my neighbor next door, "what's that writing on that church across the street?" He told me he was Polish and it was a Polish church...and let me know I was in a Polish neighborhood. I then asked, "where do people go out around here?" And he told me there's people around your age that go up the street to Krocodiles...so that Friday I walked up the street and met my first Polish friend there and through him I have a load of Polish friends that I hangout with. In fact, I'm about to go visit one of them in a few minutes.

Amen, Kataryna, I am American and not Polish, but live here in Chicago after moving from the South. I see plenty of Polish struggling just trying to make a living...a better life for themselves. I see nothing wrong with that. America paints the picture many times of give me your "tired and poor" but that is not the case. It seems to me they only want others under their conditions.

There is no sin with someone wanting a better life. That's why so many Mexicans cross the border into Texas each day...the only want a better way of life. If you listen and believe the media you will be lost. The media will have you thinking that Blacks do nothing, but rob and steal and want to be on welfare when in reality there are more whites on welfare than Blacks....in addition the media never focuses on the hard working Blacks because...it's not newsworthy.

Think for yourselves all of you. Always before you place judgement put yourself in someone else's shoes and just be thankful that you are fortunate enough that it is not you.

I made a deal with my Polish buddy...he is going to take classes to speak better English and I figured since I am around Polish guys and girls all the time, I would take Polish classes.

I love golanka. We eat them down south in greens or black eyed peas. I had no idea when I went to the Polish store with my best friend here in Chicago, Marcin that the Polish ate them as well. Now, when you eat one...you must have a hot pepper on the side with a glass of lemonade...it will send you to the stars, :-)

It all comes down to personal preference...a person might fall in love with a Black guy or a Black girl might fall in love with a Polish guy or anyone else for that matter. Doesn't make the person a slut or tramp or whatever...it's what you want to do and who you love.
