News / Poland's post-election political scene [4080]

One Polish retiree taking part to the demo said to a Euronews journalist that she was demonstrating because she refuses to have fundamentalism in Poland

The "protests" are mainly about keeping Poland a colony run by foreign agents of influence, people taking part in it are either political operative & "NGOs" parasites that never had a real job or confused individuals like the old fool you mentioned. It's not that Germany or France want Poland to become a rich and influential country, why would they need competition ? It's far better to have a cheap labour reservoir and a market where they can dump their lower quality products even If nominally "France & Germany" are losing financially. That's because for Carrefour, VW and all, that's a great business and that's what matters.

What Pierre and Klaus think about it is irrelevant in these "great democracies", same like their opinion on EUR and most other things. It's pretty much the same pattern as with colonialism in previous centuries, just with better make-up this time. England had to finance huge navy and army to keep the Negroes down but East India Company etc. were ripping off the huge profits. This time Pierre and Klaus might be losing some of their tax money but they don't really go to Jasiu and Stasiu but to Carrefour, VW and all operating in Poland as most of "EU funds for Poland" for the past 8 years had been distributed to foreign companies hence the "protests" to bring it back. It's not Poland vs Germany or anything like that, it's "elites" vs people and the whole trick is that many of the little folks get convinced that they are a part of "elites", to make themselves feel better, and serve as useful idiots of real "elites" that are no more than top 0.1% of the society, not top 35% - that's not any "elite", that's lower middle class at best.

I don't see Germany providing such deals for Polish companies, so why are PiS handing them a large amount of cash and allowing them to crowd out any domestic Polish engine producer?

WTF ? You "democrats" are incredible, first you cry how PiS will chase out foreign investors and once it's been proven to be total nonsense, you come up with totally opposite thing. I guess If Kaczyński said homo "marriages" are a good idea, 3 seconds later you would show up yelling that he is destroying family values. Dude, just like they are good immigrants and not so good immigrants, there are good and not so good foreign investments. This one is surely better than 99% others including those cheap labour Amazon warehouses you were so exited about. Which "domestic Polish engine producer" ? If there was any, would they put it into the vehicles of Mercedes instead of their own ? Give me a break.

Tesco are making no more than 3.5% profit on their revenue in Poland

If you has a clue about business, you would know that these days profit rate is pretty much a matter of management's decision.

Life / Is it safe for Indians, Sikhs living here in Poland? Any Temple / Gurudwara in Wroclaw? [160]

The explanation seems to be rather simple: unlike you, the editors of Radio Poland don't believe that Bodnar is

So when they report the leader of ISIS threatening Europe with more attacks, it means then they don't agree ISIS is a bunch of fanatical scum ? Ah these "expats" and their logic...

physical agressions that take place in Poland against "looking different" foreigners

this is perfectly alright

It depends, each case is different.

Not sure about Bodnar's background

You can find it out within 1 min of googling and RP has just reported, word by word, what this creep said, without any of their own comment.

They are definately lowering polands image abroad on many levels. They are definately costing poland money.

"They" are costing Poland money because a bunch of "democrats", who can't deal with a fact that they were booted out in result of free and democratic elections, instead of thinking how to improve their agenda, human potential etc. they are touring foreign media and governments screaming that "fascism is on the rise in Poland". I wouldn't be surprised If damn traitors were ready to bring war here just to blame it on the current authorities.

As you know well, 3rd RP had been run for years by "ex" commies, the fat drunk etc. "They" would have cost Poland much much more money If the right wings folks were travelling between Washington, London, Brussels and Berlin, from CNN & WSJ to FT & FAZ, saying that "come back of stalinism in Poland is a serious threat", "people with totalitarian background can not be trusted", "how can you give access to NATO classified information to people educated in Moscow", "ownership rights in Poland are in danger" and so on. Except that they... didn't (although a large part of that would have been true) because only traitors do such things.

But remember that Greggy is just one in a long line of Communists

Pathetic crap, as usual.

Can't find anything about poles being attacked everyday in Ukraine.

Sweet Michnik... what about Poles being attacked by Poles everyday in Poland ? You know, it just happen, especially during weekend evenings/nights... Poles attacked by Poles, Ukrainians attacked by Poles, Poles attacked by Ukrainians, Ukrainians attacked by Ukrainians... Like I said before, prove that Ukrainians are attacked in Poland statistically more often than Poles are attacked in Poland or stop spreading Polonophobic propaganda.

Very true. Even Radio Poland and Poland's Human Rights Ombudsman Adam Bodnar have noticed:

"What is interesting, and probably a new trend, is that people have no problem with the fact that they comment under their own names," Bodnar noted. - See more at: thenews.pl/1/9/Artykul/243728,Racial-tension-escalating-in-Poland-human-rights-ombudsman#sthash.7EjFAC6l.dpuf

Holy EU ! A "democrat" has spoken ! This dude is not any "Human Rights Ombudsman" but an operative of a previous regime that got this ****** "job" just weeks before lost elections and he got it in order to spread Polonophobic propaganda about "rising fascism in Poland", fecker do that living off tax money of those "fascist Poles". If this was a real "Human Rights Ombudsman", they would appoint some respected lawyer, not some "gender equality" creep.

Feedback / Member warning system to prevent abuse / spam / off-topic posts [145]

Merged: Admin, get a clue how the warning system should be used...

Again, I got a warning for telling a xenophobic psychopath to shut up, while the psycho got nothing. So, I guess when I will say that for example, people from Liverpool suck dicks for 1 GBP, to some "expat" coming from there, and the "expat" in turn will come up with some "abuse", I can count on the expat getting a warning and I won't get one ? How can I tell if someone else has a warning?

Law / Polish Income Tax Payable on Inheritance for UK Citizen [26]

I know that If you buy a property and then sell it within 5 years for more than the purchase price, you should pay the tax on the difference. For example, you buy a flat for 200k, sell it 3 years later for 220k (and don't use that money to buy another one), you get the "extra" 20k taxed... that makes some sense I think... in your case logically you shouldn't pay that tax but that's just my guess...

Edit: bankier.pl/wiadomosc/Sprzedajesz-otrzymana-w-spadku-nieruchomosc-Zobacz-kiedy-zaplacisz-podatek-3400097.html -> it seems that in general tax should be paid... but I'm not sure how they treat the purchase price, tax residency etc.

News / The only three normal cities with any respect for humanity in Poland [99]

What does this have to do with the syrian refugees ? is it because most of them are muslims ? This whole mindset of "muslim refugees means more terrorism" is erroneous.

First of all, most of "Syrian refugees" are neither Syrian nor refugees, very often it's not even possible to tell where they really came from... Letting in hordes of unidentified people is simply madness. I get the point about Turks, however Turkey overall has been "back-pedalling" since quite a long time and If they keep doing so, sooner or later they will reach dangerous level of islamism and I'm sure that will have some effect on the diaspora Turks too. Generally, you let in "liberal Muslims" and some years later they or their children will blow you up - I'm sorry but that scenario is not some "xenophobic rant" but the reality Europe is dealing with right now.

I don't know, but it would be nice if we established permanent projections in every city in Poland.

Please do. Would be fun to watch Soros' "democrats" vastly outnumbered by people telling them to turn that crap off.

From next year Poland will have to start paying in to the EU rather than just receiving money

WTF ? edited , we've been paying billions into it, each and every year. Incredible that so clueless people dare to speak up.

Play fair, no name calling please

History / Question about Warsaw Ghetto (shared building?) and Monument [29]

This really sickens me. The really sad thing is that given the atmosphere the 18% regime are encouraging, this kind of disgrace is going to become far far more commonplace.

That nearly breaks my heart. Nearly, because there had been dozens of similar incidents in Poland (and thousands across EU) when your beloved 18.1% previous regime was in charge and somehow it didn't make you post these things at PF.

"When people say that welcoming refugees is like opening our city to Muslim terrorists, I tell them not to worry," Adamowicz says wryly. "The terrorists are far more interested in the big European capitals than in little Gdańsk."

A good example of what PO is about. Utter scum.

News / Poland -- Europe's only counterweight to Russia [271]

There are cases for rapes commited by American troops in several countries they are stationed in.

Does Poles really want thousands of American troops stationed here?

The current line seems to be "permanent presence" (of up to 3k soldiers) but no "permanent bases" so no huge facilities like in Ramstein where they pretty much built a friggin city and sit there since decades. More likely they will adapt one of Polish facilities and 1 brigade will be stationed there in semi-field conditions, after 6 months being rotated by another one. Yanks want to keep this case opened and likely when/if things cool down in several years, they will be gone and we won't beg them to stay. I know it's not white and black and in the long term we should rather try to form "3rd way" regional alliance but in short term it's not realistic and with all the things going on it's better to have them here than not. Being a NATO "half-member" like now is the worst situation, Russians treat us as an enemy anyway and "allies" will likely not lift a finger If we get attacked.

Regarding rapes, it happens when you bring large number of young men, Poles in the uk or elsewhere also commit sexual crimes... I don't think US soldiers are worse on that. The whole thing in Japan and elsewhere I think is more about US not allowing to trial their servicemen by locals.

News / Poland -- Europe's only counterweight to Russia [271]

But I know that Afghanistan, Irak, and Libya were not destroyed by Russia.

Actually, mess in Afghanistan was started by Russia, they were involved in most of these ****** wars one way or another, same with Syria recently, "free world" is a negative factor over there but Russia is no better, unless you believe in RT style Kremlin propaganda that they are brave heroes, who went there to defeat evil ISIS and protect minorities. "World powers" have been making mess in peripheral areas of the world, that's what they do.

How can Poland or Latvia be viewed as a threat to Russia's security?

You ask me ? Ask them. Apparently, they want all ex-commie countries to be a kind of buffer zone without any serious military, either domestic or foreign. Otherwise they feel "threatened" and "provoked". The thing is, it shouldn't be their friggin business, we don't care much what they do around Moscow, they shouldn't care much what we do around Warsaw.

But give Poland the means to fulfil its ambitions, and see what happens.

Yes and perhaps 200 years from now, Poland will acquire thousands of nuclear warheads, start invading neighbours, annex Wilno and Lwów and so on. You think civilized world should then think "let's do nothing, better don't provoke them" ?

Yes, it's a little game between nuclear powers (kinda risky)

Yes and If you haven't noticed, a lot was done to appease Russia, Russia-NATO council, no NATO bases in ex-commie countries, Russia in G8, NATO turned into a political club. Obama, Tusk and all other faggots have been trying "resets" with Russia and that brought only wars and muscle flexing on the Russian side. Since over a decade Russians have been on the offensive and if the other side does nothing, they will keep it going.

I wonder what will you say If the "little green men" show up in Latvia one day ?

* start a nuclear war with Russia ?
* oh we need more dialogue ! (**** Latvia, let them have it) -> then soon later they will try something similar with Poland, this time triggering off a serious regional military conflict that will likely turn into something much more serious.

The reason why the cold war didn't turn hot was that each side knew the other would quickly counter-attack. Would you scream back then that US, UK, Canada etc. should pull out of West Germany because Russia feels provoked ? Ever heard "If you want peace, prepare for war" ?

Talking about "allies", America doesn't care much about Poland.

I'm well aware of that. That's why we should expect from "NATO" (US, UK) stationing here 3-4k soldiers and have a detailed plans to transport quickly 30-40k more in case of any crisis - to drag them here and force them to react if shyt hits the fan - If they like it or not. If they won't do that being more concerned about Russia's "feelings" - we should leave the whole "alliance" as it's worthless. Just like in in 39 we should have demanded from UK/France to move here a squadron of destroyers + 5 squadrons of Hurricanes/2-3 infantry divisions. Or else cancel the whole deal and start negotiating with Adolf.

Regarding "EU army" and such nonsense, it would be more likely send into action to put down "nationalistic governments" in some member states or airlift "refugees" than to defend anyone.
