Russia, Mexico, Colombia, ect all have much lower gun ownership rates than the U.S & yet much higher murder rates.

Yeah, interesting.. Maybe because the high corruption there with the police. Still, there's a lot of extremely scary places in the US. I'd probably keep guns out of Poland as much as possible.

The Americans treated their Japanese and Germans immigrants like rubbish not to long ago as a reaction to WW1 and WW2.

Well ,Kraut Americans only got really insulted with WWI not that much after WWII. They had been here too long. However, they stopped speaking German in a lot of little towns in the Midwest, Pennsylvannia, etc.

Ehh, don't know about that. A lot of Europeans are fascinated by America maybe. America has a lot of funny contradictions and it does spark a lot of imagination over in Europe. Get rich , Hollywood stuff. And conversely I know a quite a few Americans that live , eat sleep .. anything European. Europe and America both present interesting but very different options for someone. I've lived in Europe, some of it was overrated, dilapidated, humourless.. also some of it was amazing, beautiful, laid back, friendly. When you read a lot history and suddenly you're there where all these things actually took place and you can kind of feel all the centuries past. Now, that's quite a thing.

Yes, but it's typically not that commonplace among whites (abusing partners, leaving kids, and so forth). It's not racist to remind someone considering a relationship with a black partner the cultural differences that exist. Trust me , there ar many and there is quite a chasm of mores, expectations, etc, etc.

-don't talk back! :) just listen
-say she's beautiful without being asked;
-try to surprise her from time to time (bring flowers, invite her to dinner/or cinema/or to dance/choose something nice)
