Jon is just winding you up, we Brits see American team sports as a bit pathetic.
Rounders is a girl's game over here, but is very similar to Baseball.
Netball is also a girl's game here and is very similar to Basketball.
American Football is a man's game similar to Rugby, but your players need to wear armour to play it whilst ours dont.
The summary is that most Brits regard American team sports as wimpy or effminate.
I am not saying that I completely agree with this view, but have to admit to having some sympathy for it.
Hope this explains the different transatlantic views.

No virtue signalling from me but it was a song that was strong enough to win in any year, in my opinion.

The Polish song was good but not as strong as the UK.

The most interesting thing for me, is how European political voting played out in Eurovision.
We all know that this is not really a music contest but political competition, right?

Number 1 Ukraine.
Number 2 UK.
Second from last France.
Last Germany.

That says it all for me.

Europeans have gained respect for Ukraine and the UK.
And lost respect for France and Germany.

Against my better judgement, I actually watched the end of this show.
And quite enjoyed it!
Caught about five full performances, including the UK entry and then saw clips of all the others.
Yes, as usual, there was a lot of rubbish,.
Especially that Nazi looking Serbian woman with facial warts,....urgh....
But I have to say that overall there was a big increase in the quality of music.
Yes, it was still politically motivated voting, but not always.
And we all knew Ukraine would win, but hey, I thought they had the best song anyway!
The best moment for me was when Ukraine gave the UK 12 points.
Both countries United against the Russian bully.

I should have guessed that someone like Crow started this toxic thread years ago.
As usual, he is ill informed and the history is far too complex for his small Serbian brain to comprehend.
I am of 100% Polish descent.
But my mother's parents moved to France between the World Wars.
So I know about the long history and connection between France and Poland.
Unlike Crow.
It has existed for decades and exists to this day.
And the conections go much deeper than many people realise.
Many of you posters on here need to check that history out, before posting.
Especially Serbian troublemakers.
