So if somebody of Polish ancestry makes a mistake its because "he has inferior intelligence"

Of course this isn't the case. Bloopers are made on television all the time. With millions of viewers they are easily noticed.

People may get the wrong impression by observing people such as Pat Sajak. I recall, he had once referred to an animal of the reptile species, as an amphibian.

I prefer to refer to such places as Senior Retirement Facilities. It sounds more respectful to the elderly.

I enjoy visiting the facility, located next to the Polish church in Los Angeles, CA. It is there, where I have the opportunity and pleasure to chat, with the wonderful people who reside there. They are a precious part of the older Polish generation. Including other people's Babcia or Busha (take your pick of terminology.) I'm intrigued when I hear them speak about Polish culture, along with life in the old country. They are all very special people.

Thankfully, I don't have a beak. However, I do have a few male relatives who were born with a honker..

I had gone out with a friend one evening. We were at a club, both interested in chatting with the same guy. He had started a conversation with us, eventually asking about our ethnicity. When it was my turn to speak she blurted out, "My friend is a pollock." I suppose she did it to divert his attention from me, trying to make him believe I'm dumb. To her surprise, my being Polish had started a more interesting conversation with him. He had graduated from Harvard University. Many of his former classmates were Polish, graduating with highest honors :)

Polish bacon doesn't fry up?

I noticed the bacon served at breakfast in both Lublin and Warszawa appeared uncooked. My sis said it was safe to eat. It's supposedly cooked via a curing process from the juices? I could only eat one bite. Just too raw for my liking. I kept visualizing thoughts of trichinosis!

I've heard it said by some of your kind that the typcial young Polish male is a mummy's boy

Most of the Polish guys I know have a somewhat good relationship with their mother. They may call her about 3 times a week. If they live nearby, they may visit her once a week. Nothing overly out of the ordinary. They've learned to cut the umbilical cord, unlike some men of other ethnicities...

In America, unpasteurized milk is PROHIBITED.

There have been court cases in Riverside, California concerning the selling or raw cow's milk.
The Riverside County Health Dept filed a lawsuit against a local rancher. He was in the habit of having parties on his ranch. He'd sell shots of raw milk, with beverages containing alcohol.

As a result, his fiestas landed him numerous court appearances. He also incurred tens of thousands of dollars owed in court fines.

In Poland I saw many older woman with red hair. Most of them had hair that had been dyed red.

I don't think too many Polish men (or any men for that matter) will mind, if their woman makes more $ than he does. Especially, if she spends some of her hard-earned cash on the guy...

I love my melatonin! It's natural and very safe. In addition, European studies suggest it can postpone graying of your hair.....

Thanks for the advice. My mom is the only one in my family with gray hair. When my hair starts to turn gray, I think I may give melatonin a try.

I can see Paris on that list as one of the world's rudest cities

While shopping in a store in Paris, a woman bumped into me with her baby stroller. I tripped and stumbled. The startled baby started crying out loud. The woman (not lady) never got off her damn cell phone for one second. She didn't bother to check if the baby or myself were okay.

Getting pretty tired of the postal service here in Poland

I visited Poland last summer. It took over 2 weeks, for relatives in the United States to receive my postcards. I think the mail would have arrived faster via pony express!
