How long will a package take to mail from Poland to USA by sea?

I have a package coming from Poland that my ex sent me for valentines day. She sent it on the 6th of February and it still has yet to come. She sent it by sea because it was too expensive by plane. How long will it take to get here?

In 2000, I made the mistake of sending a postcard "by land", and it got to the USA five months after my vacation was over.

I hope you receive your package sooner.

The last time I checked, my only option was sending a package by air, the land way wasn't available anymore.

packages from the east coast to Poland typically took 8 weeks to get to me by boat.

Fuzzy you mean from USA to Poland or Poland to USA? Because I'm in the USA expecting a package coming from Poland.

i don't think it makes a difference but I can't say for sure, I've never sent a package from Poland to the USA. mail sure, but not packages.

When I used to fly home to visit the USA, I used to send myself packages before I left by ship, they would take 7-8 weeks to get to me.

Haha, she probably didn't send it at all.

Exactly.homofry is a frajer.

She sent it by sea because it was too expensive by plane.

Didn't you say her parents are rich?Anyway, last time I mailed a package (air mail) from PL to US it was 50 PLN (expensive?) and the package was quite heavy.Forget about your valentine homofry, she has got better things to do than mailing valentines to a frajer like you.

Your package may arrive much quicker, if you send it via Pony Express!

If she used certified airmail it will take 1 to 3 weeks max depending on the time of the year. ex. holidays, etc. If you don't receive your package in 1 month most likely it was lost or held up for some crazy reason. Make sure she wasn't tiring to send any liquids in it.

Generally it’s illegal to send any kind of food to the US via personal mail form overseas. It’s very restricted but of course there are some exceptions.

It really depends on how your GF labeled her "shipment". For instance “food” is a bad word. So if someone at US customs caught it they probably dumped it in garbage. Sorry dude.

btw Why do feel it's necessary to explain yourself to those idiots?

I ordered a hand cast of Chopin from Warsaw Poland on May 11, and it is still sitting at the originating post! They said it would take 7-8 weeks.
