Are you referring to the POTUS being able to appoint supreme court judges or something else? PiS seems to have taken it further by being able to fire judges. It's interesting that what one side of pond finds appalling, the other finds normal. Americans basically accept that the POTUS appoints judges, but here it's an atrocity.
