It is my habit to place my emotions on the same scale that is a derivative of the event scale. I don't have separate scales for different classes of events. If I were to put Germany on my hate scale - which would be hypothetical since I don't hate them - they should be, based on the historical records, at the end of it. Say, 100.

This sentence made them equivalent. Which is totally false. The Soviet occupation of Poland and the American occupation of German are equivalents.
