Hi there! I was online looking for that same festival and did not find anything. I contacted the woman who was in charge of the event in years past and they are hoping to do something around Easter time. As far as learning to speak Polish I know that they offer Polish language lessons at the Marks Street Community Center in downtown Orlando.

I wish they did have a Fall Festival as they have had in the past. I think the older generations that were able to do it before are slowing down and it will take the younger generations that want to keep those traditions alive to carry on with the event planning. For future generations of Polish Americans this really should be done!

Hi, I have been a single Mom for the last 10 years, my boys are now 20 in the 2nd year of college and 11 in 6th grade who is one of the best ice goalie's in the State of Florida.

My 2 sons and I moved to Oldsmar, FL from Pittsburgh, PA in February 2002. We really love Florida a lot.
I have been to Poland 3 times and I studies the Polish Language in Catholic Churches on Saturday mornings in Pittsburgh for 3 years before I went to Poland. I have been all over Poland and traveled by the train. I did my family history and was able to go back to the 1700.

I am looking, praying to find one nice guy for a serious relationship. I am a beautiful women, olive skin, no wrinkles and I am sweet and honest and loyal. I am also down to earth and easy going. I make Polish Food too. I have long straight hair and I am thin, I take good care of myself and my 2 sons, I am more of natural person and natural foods. I enjoy the outdoors, I like to work in the garden. I have a 17 foot cuddy cab Baylinder boat that I need a nice guy to help me put it in and out of the waters here.

I am willing to move to another area of Florida and I love the warm weather and the beaches here.

You can put get that boat in and out of the water yourself. It's not that hard, and you'll feel great once you do, trust me.

It is great to see some of the younger Poles that are trying to keep the Polish culture alive in Florida. There are many Poles in Florida, but they do not congregate in one neighborhood anymore. It only takes a couple of people to get it going again. It's up to you younger generation to keep it going.

Years ago i attended a polka festival on the East coast near Orlando.. They had two good bands and lasted eight hours.. I met people from all over the states there. We all had a great time. Good Luck

Agreed, the younger generation definitely needs to do a better effort to coordinate something. Other than the St. Joseph's Church in Orlando there isn't a whole lot going on... Depends where you live..Jacksonville....you can join the Polish American club.....you will find Polish people :)

There are many polish people in central florida. There is a polish catholic parish in orlando. I am all polish. Just went to Poland in September for 2 weeks. Had a great time.

I am learning to speak polish. Also there are some Polish Stores in Orlando. Polonia is a polish restuarant in Long wood owned and operated by 2 guys from poland. All the food is home made, in expensive and OUT OF SITE. I love all their food

We should all get together at Polonia in Longwood. I have been looking for other Polish people to hang with...

I lost contact with him .Last time I saw him ,I was 17 yold.Now I am 60 and he (Jerzy Skarzynski, Jurek) is now about 87.I hope he is alive:).His brother Zbigniew is alive,I would love to go to Florida and meet him:) Rather impossible.But I know that there is many Pollans.
