Do Poles like to hunt? Hunting in Poland.

@Lenka

Very unlikely. Fox is a very cunning (go figure) predator. After massacring hares, it would switch to birds - domestic and wild - and decimate them too. Maybe that's what you want? All the cuddly hares and sweet birdies to be eaten by cunning foxes? You monsters!!!

One fox eats 60 hares a year. Hares would effectively disappear from Poland if it wasn't for hunters shooting foxes.

So, we can have two situations:

1. A hunter shoots a fox - one bullet, quick death, 60 cuddly hares saved.

2. The fox lives, saved by a hunting ban introduced by monsters like Pawian, Jon or Lenka. 60 little, cuddly, sweet hares are torn apart alive by the teeth of the cunning predator. LOOK!!!

1

I want you to look this lovely hare in the eyes and tell him that it's better for him to die in a fox's teeth, together with 59 others being devoured, than for one fox to be shot. LOOK HIM IN THE EYES!!!

You monsters... you people disgust me...

things and feeling 'self-cleansed' or 'elated'.

How often do I have to explain to you or some close-minded battle axe what I meant by being elated? After my daughter's untimely departure, I have not hunted even once, but I am happy for others that do and would not dream of imposing my views on others. I am happy, well-adjusted, and have a sound mind, so elation often comes in many forms. Don't exactly remember being elated at the moment of a kill shot. But the way I fill at any given moment is a part of me not howling

forming at the mouth, nosy mob of unhappy yahoos!

I am happy for others that do

Thank you! I come from a hunting family and I occasionally go hunting too. One has to do one's part to preserve wildlife, in the sad absence of natural predators, and keep the ecosystem in balance. Future generations will thank us.

OK, gotta go. Happy New Year, everyone. Please - in the New Year 2023 - think about lovely cuddly hares!

And what is more likely the fox populatuon would drop.

What is more likey is Mother Naure running her course.
To many fox and they start using other animals abandoned dens and catch the mange and die off naturally.
Personally I think that is more humane than having a fox foot in a trap freaking out only to get clubbed in the head three days later.

I have never been a fan of live trapping.
Second of all a foxes main diet is field mice and not hare.
What kind of hunters are you not to know this.
My pet fox comes right up on my porch and eats a raw chicken leg every night when it is minus -25C in the winter.

You never see her in the summer.
Such a beautiful shiny coat she has.

Most families gave up 'hunting' as soon as a more convenient food supply chain appeared...

What kind of stupid argument is that? This does not apply in many areas, and we are back to the hypocritical question, why is hunted meat worst than the one in the supermarkets? Why is the hunter inferior to you, the hypocrite consuming pork veal and poultry that the psychotic butcher kills?

Only in the areas were hares are extinct or almost extinct (and unfortunately there's quite a few of them in Europe these days). Given a choice fox will always hunt for a hare - quite obvious from the survival point of view, more calories with less exertion (Wild Nature 101).

Here, read and wise up (use Google translate, if you don't know Polish)...

OK, I'm off. See yous.

I can't argue that fact with you.
The Hare in Michigan are almost extinct due to the high coyote population due to the lack of hunters.

I wonder if joun has ever witnessed a stock yard where they butcher beef cattle.
They shackle the cows back legs, hook a chain to the shackles and hook the other end on a tractor bucket and hoist them up in the air alive and cut their throats to let them bleed out.

I guess joun thinks that is more humane than an instant death to a deer from a bullet from a hunters gun.

a stock yard where they butcher beef cattle.

Not where I'm from they don't.

However it's well known that food standards are lower across the Atlantic. One reason we restrict imports from there.

That is unavoidable, 'Hunting' is avoidable.

Jon, you are tripping over your shoelaces. Why avoid something you enjoy doing? Oh, I get it. I follow your twisted logic; you disapprove, so I must avoid it. Got it.

Yes, that`s the trick that hunters always play. First, they kill predators which control hares. Then, when the hare population grows quickly, they start killing hares. And then foxes again. Fun all year round for decades.

In my area there is the hare supremacy right now coz foxes were massacred a few years ago. Local farmers are calling for hunters to deal with the hare problem.

to tell me how to live my life?

I am not telling you that. I only remarked you are gravely inconsistent.

The hunting mentality is about being in nature. I

You are an honorable man Pol Am.

One can be in and enjoy nature without killing any living creature.

They probably slung it and went for a Big Mac.

After numerous attempts, you still don't get it. Killie is a kill. The difference is you prefer psychotic butcher kills for you to enjoy Heeee. You are not that stupid

are you?

Have you ever witnessed how beef cattle are slaughtered where you come from ?

Yes. Often.

you still don't get it

There's nothing to get, except that you like killing animals for 'elation'...
johnny reb 48 | 7,088
31 Dec 2022 #107
Yes. Often.

Perhaps you could tell us how it is done in detail.

Do tell.

Hunters in Europe use dogs and horses to chase a fox to it's death

"Its", not "it's".

And you're out of date as far as Britain is concerned. The UK banned that years ago. They just have drag hunts now, no fox is killed.

Do tell.

No.
johnny reb 48 | 7,088
31 Dec 2022 #109
No.

It's just to horrible to describe how that poor cow bellers for his life before they kill him.
Do they just cut it's throat, shoot him in the head or electrocute him before they hang him up to bleed out ?
Come on joun, tell us how it is worse than shooting a deer in the head.

The UK banned that years ago.

I would think so, how barbaric of those sick British Socialite Monsters.
pawian 224 | 24,433
31 Dec 2022 #110
cut it's throat, shoot him in the head or electrocute him shooting a deer in the head.

Both activities, ie. slaughtering animals for food and hunting them are done by people who are sick in mind.

slaughtering animals for food and hunting them are done by people who are sick in mind.

So who kills your chickens and pet rabbits for your food ?
And that Carp in your bathtub, who killed that for food ?
You hypocrite, give it up, you've worn your b.s. out for the day.
pawian 224 | 24,433
31 Dec 2022 #112
So who kills your chickens and pet rabbits for your food ?

Nobody coz we don`t keep farm animals. The need to slaughter them is one of the reasons why not.

who killed that for food ?

We don`t buy live carp - only fillets and pieces.

One can be in and enjoy nature without killing any living creature.

Who says that to enjoy nature, one has to kill? Did you come to that brilliant conclusion on your own, or did getting help from a battle axe?
pawian 224 | 24,433
31 Dec 2022 #114
I stop hunting after my daughter's death.

Why did you stop hunting after this tragedy?

Who says that to enjoy nature, one has to kill?

Most hunters don`t enjoy nature but killing. That is why they go into the woods with a gun or bow instead of a camera.
Przelotnyptak1 - | 293
31 Dec 2022 #115
The need to slaughter them is one of the reasons why not.

You are hopeless. You, Jon, Battle Axe, All of you hypocrites, stuff your bellies with meat from animals tortured by psychotic butchers?

Compared to butchers, hunters are a noble breed indeed.
pawian 224 | 24,433

psychotic butchers Compared to butchers, hunters are a noble breed indeed.

Yes, indeed. Especially when they smear blood of their prey all over their faces - they are certainly less psychotic than professional butchers. :):):)

BTW, what about hunting jargon which hunters use to prevent being ostrasized in a company of normal people. Blood isn `t blood anymore but paint (at least in Polish terminology). Killing or shooting isn`t killing but harvesting. Funny or sad???

We don`t buy live carp - only fillets and pieces.

So the pictures of the carp in your bathtub that you posted was yet another lie of yours.
Got it.

Most hunters don`t enjoy nature but killing.

American sportsman must be different then the sick Polish sport killers then.

Killing or shooting isn`t killing but harvesting.

I don't know about Poland but where I come from absolutely.
Now that you have repeated your opinion 50 times in this thread that you are an anti-hunter why don't you stfu and let someone else voice their opinion without you chiming in with another of your Rinse & Repeats.

Thank you.

So the pictures of the carp in your bathtub

It was Joker who showed them. And if I did within the last 10 years, they weren`t my pics. Not my pics, not my fish. Simple.

you are an anti-hunter why don't you stfu

But pro hunting posters are still talking back to me, so I can`t shut up. I always need to have the last word. You know what I am.
