Elon Musk tells Germans to "move on"!

So you don't think man made climate change is a problem?

Climate changes all the time, what we know about Earth history shows it! Only a few thousand years back Europe was an ice hell, even more years back Europe didn't even exist. And the changes go on, with mankind or without it.

We can't stop the moving of earth plates, volcanos, glacial/interclacial periodes etc., but then there is overpopulation, food shortages, the coming end of fossil ressources, poisoning of the environment etc. where we could do something.

And again, it won't be the vegan/leftist Kumbaya-tree-dancers who will find solutions...it will be the scientists, the doer....smarties like Musk!
Tacitus  2 | 1374

I'd rather see it goes on with us.

There is no way to stop man made climate at this point. All we can do is to midigate the consequences by keeping it at a manageable level. Which is still going to take a lot of effort.

Something to keep in mind. The refugee situation right now will look downright trivial if large parts of the Middle East and Africa end up inhospitable due to climate change.
Bratwurst Boy  8 | 12186
27 May 2025   #213
...that isn't helped with making other regions inhospitable due over-migration though!

PS: It's the biggest scam ever to make people believe environment protection is a left thing, it never was! It has always been a conservative thing, hence the "conserving".

At last more and more people look behind that green fassade....every genderism, feminism, open-border "Demo gegen Rechts" etc. costs the Greens voters and sympathisants and election percentages...after all what the hell has one left-radical Jette Nietzard (as a good example) to do with anything Green?

what we know about Earth history shows it! Only

So you're suggesting that 99.9% of scientists are wrong and you know something the scientists don't?

So you're suggesting that 99.9% of scientists are wrong

What?

Explain please....

Migration from the global south to Europe, Canada and Siberia has barely begun.

We're no more than a decade (and probably less) from the first water war, and yes, the damage done by industry over the past 150 years or so can only be at best mitigated

We're no more than a decade (and probably less) from the first water war,

...so....you better start cheering Musk etc. on for finding a solution, right?

..."Desalination -- as most people know -- has become very inexpensive. The availability of fresh water is simply about [a matter of] energy and transport. When I talk to the very well-read, very smart people in the US, they will often think that the water crisis is unsolvable, but in fact, it is very solvable," Musk said. ....

Of course...when your lefties have a better solution...the world is all ears!

I know you werent making a joke but that was very funny.

We will be waiting a loooooong time for that, if ever! lol

He didn't invent anything. He just tried to make money (which he's now losing) from it.
Bratwurst Boy  8 | 12186

He did already more than any of us....and there is alot more to come....again, more than from any of us.

In this case, concerning any survival-solutions at all, I throw my last two Cents in with him and his kind!
jon357  72 | 24088
27 May 2025   #221
He did already more

More damage by supporting extreme rightwing candidates, firing thousands of public sector staff for no reason at all, including veterans, bankrolling far-rightwing politicians and trying to interfere with the sentences of jailed racist grifters in countries he has no connection to.

That and the public Hitler salutes, which as bad signs go, is very much the worst.

India and Pakistan's Water Wars Are Just Beginning

that isn't helped with making other regions inhospitable due over-migration though!

Which region are you talking about? When we talk about a region becoming inhospitable, we are not talking about there possibly being more crimes, rising rents and strains on the infrastructure. We are talking about people having to leave because there is not enough water and food there to survive.

You have preached the end of the world for fifty years now. First, it was global cooling; now, it's global warming. You, the alarmists, predicted most of the landmass would be underwater, and the ancient circle of life continues. With or without human output, the only significant change is the growing thickness of the alarmists' wallets and the size of the ark duplicate Tacitus is constructing in the Tatra region.

India and Pakistan's Water Wars Are Just Beginning

I'd forgotten about that one. There's a couple of growing flash points nearer to where I am now in central/west Africa.

We are talking about people having to leave because there is not enough water and food there to survive

The Sahara is growing fast to the south west. It's already caused the Darfur crisis and now Nigeria is desertifying. No politician wants to deal with it; population movements of millions aren't a vote winner.

We can help.

Stop sending food and medicine.

As usual Yahus solution is not a solution at all invalatary massive vasectomy would work just fine, I case of India and Pakistan region.

But Tacitus in his wisdom would prefer castration of all the white males to stop the overpopulation, leaving the sucontinent fu*k like rabbits, because it is the white man's fault.I really understand Yahus' rationale.

It is even happening on our side of the sea.

Farmer vs. sand: Spain's fight against desertification

If climate change models are correct, much of the country's fertile land could transform into desert.

politico.eu/article/farmer-sand-spain-fight-against-desertification-soil-degradation/

Parts of Spain, Southern France and Italy. All regions that produce a lot of food, all threatened by Climate change.

We have had an unusual warm amd dry May this year in Central Europe (following several unusual dry years in this decade).

But very unfortunate to have Yahu like you with the desert for brain, wasting oxygen

Why the insults? Is that truly necessary?

....and what is a "Yahu"???

I hope very bad or bad enough to stop having 8 kids per woman.

Southern France

It's hard to believe that Sussex, Kent and Hampshire make better Champagne and Chablis than the Champagne and Chablis regions of France. So much so that French winemakers won't have open category blind tastings any more. The future for them is probably licensing the regional names as brands to be made in NZ or U.K. That or the names will just die off.

But one can imagine that if Central Europe is becoming increasingly dry, how bad things will be in Africa and thr ME... .

I could tell some stories about this however 50% reading them would disbelieve them and some of the others would pretend to like the idea of people dying or getting ill.

From the provided article

Germany is not alone. According to the latest EU monitoring, published last week, the outlook remains positive in Europe for most crops. But drought concerns stretch across Central and Eastern Europe breadbaskets.

In Poland, where 13% of EU cereals were harvested in 2024, experts see "cause for a degree of concern." The country has seen significantly reduced precipitation and warmer-than-average temperatures this spring, leaving riverbeds and soils visibly parched.

Why the insults? Is that truly necessary?

Tacitus stands for nothing and acts like an AI robot so I am not surprised that Ptak, just like me, tries to provoke him into a response that would prove he has a pulse.

Lately, when I am on the phone with customer service, I often start with: What is the square root 122? to make sure I am dealing with a human being.

Just read the above post and tell me that it is written by a normal man, not an AP writer.

Never his own opinion...and controversial...Oh, my God...Stasi is coming!

....leaving riverbeds and soils visibly parched.

....the more important to support the smarties like Musk and their tech solutions, right?

Who else will be able to do something? Opening the borders for every African can't be it....

I often start with: What is the square root 122?

Really! :):):)

and tell me that it is written by a normal man,

Yes it is....the german "discourse" is mostly like that....at least in a foreign language....in our "Muttersprache" we sometimes lose it too, though...

Governments who actually take the threat of climate change seriously?

Musk has helped brought a government into power that is now hell-bent on undoing the progress the previous government has achieved on this front.

In Europe he is giving voice to parties that embrace climate change denial.

He is creating more problems to those who try fighting climate change than he contributes to its' resolution
Bratwurst Boy  8 | 12186

that is now hell-bent on undoing the progress the previous government

Undoing all that leftist identity crap is a good thing in my eyes....DEI has nothing to do with helping the environment, surviving the climate change, nothing at all!

Musk developed cars without fossil fuels and is now working on the water-solution...after all a successful big scale desalination would end all water problems of this world, make the desert bloom and keep Africans home....what are the Left-Greens working on? On bringing men into women sports....gah!
jon357  72 | 24088
27 May 2025   #239
after all a successful big scale desalination would end all water problems of this world,

It really wouldn't.

keep Africans home

Why should they do that? After all, Europeans didn't...
Bratwurst Boy  8 | 12186
27 May 2025   #240
It really wouldn't.

....thats what I mean! Denying ANYTHING which doesn't fit into the left worldview...but presenting no alternative at all.

And no, accepting millions of immigrants from far away is NOT an alternative!

Have to go now *waves*
