SpaceX is just decades old tech with some fancy modern computer stuff strapped in. But it exists. It makes Tesla money. Probably because it works out to being more expensive than a space shuttle. His satellite internet can't service a large enough population at meaningful speeds, his Tesla trucks don't make sense, since the battery takes up too much weight to haul any worthwhile load, his cars explode in 1000-degree fireballs that water can't put out, battery tech itself is hamstrung by the price of Lithium, his roofs are a waste of money due to their high cost, his Boring Company is a fraud that doesn't make actual mass transit, his robots are vaporware that companies in China and Japan have working prototypes for.
He's a typical venture capital scammer who knows how to sell an idea to investors and clients, and that's what he's been doing his entire career. Just because he got big marks to bite doesn't mean he's not a scammer.
He literally scammed people into buying Dogecoin, sold and then laughed about it being a hustle on SNL. He scammed Las Vegas on that dumb underground mario cart track. He scammed everyone who paid for the autopilot feature on his cars which is basically just a modern cruise control that people die from falling asleep while using. He scammed the people who bought his roofs by doubling the actual price later.
