What nobody mentions when discussing the torture of the four suspects is that it doesn't really matter if they are innocent or not.

This is war. In war, there is only one rule: kill them before they kill you. Unfortunately, as in Gaza, the evil ones hit first. Now the question is how to prevent the next such event.

Both Russia and Israel are doing exactly what must be done when dealing with people who don't mind dying. The two methods are different but hopefully will prove to be equally effective.

Newly-elected Port Hedland councillor-elect and former Great Australia Party candidate Adrian McRae has appeared in a bizarre video on Russian state-owned TV, congratulating Vladimir Putin on his election victory and hailing it as the most transparent in the world.

Mr McRae, who was elected to the Town of Port Hedland council earlier this month and is yet to be sworn in, flew to Russia to participate as an election scrutineer after being invited by Russian Ambassador to Australia Aleksey Pavlovsky.

Post-election, footage published by Channel One State News showed Mr McRae, the former Great Australia Party candidate for Durack in the 2022 election, congratulating Russian President Vladimir Putin on his victory.

Speaking to the North West Telegraph from Russia, Mr McRae said he could "write for hours" on why he saw the election process as "the most ridiculously over-the-top transparency."

"Having run as a candidate in both Australian Federal and Local Government elections, as well as volunteering as a scrutineer for national elections and referendums, I was truly shocked by their transparency."

"It leaves the Australian system in its wake."

Town of Port Hedland chief executive Carl Askew said Mr McRae was travelling in a personal capacity.

"The Town does not comment on the personal activities of Elected Members," he said.

"All Elected Members are subject to the Town's Code of Conduct."

Post-election, images surfaced of Mr McRae receiving an award from Russian Presidential opposition candidate Sergey Baburin, which Sydney-based Sputnik News, a Russian-owned news platform, correspondent Simeon Boikov said was "for his efforts in strengthening friendship between Australia and Russia".

Mr McRae did not respond to questions surrounding the death and imprisonment of Mr Putin's political adversaries, and whether it had any impact on his perception of transparent and fair elections.

Terror attack in Poland? Not likely. No illegal imigration happening here. Unless it is something Russia has planned its simply not going to happen. Even in a city like Warsaw, when new people arrive, its doesnt go unnoticed. While there is some legal immigration, the system here is pretty good at processing people, slow, but very detailed and efficient. More likely another attack in Russia before Poland.

Vlad did come out and say again yesterday he has no designs on attacking a NATO state. He did say he will have no problem taking out f16's in Ukraine though when they arrive. If they are used from airfields outside of Ukraine, then those will become legitmate targets. So, not only does Z have to find more men for machines, but he has to build multiple take off and landing strips around the country to hide these planes when they arrive. This too will take more men for construction crews, and I am sure they will be completely disguised to protect them.

Most of them have been killed already and the rest will be.

He did say he will have no problem taking out f16's in Ukraine though when they arrive.

He also said that his war was a 'special operation', thet r*SSia doesn't attck civilians, that the Ukrainian government contains 'nazis' and that he's 5'7''.

He lies as others breathe.

Interesting vid from Zeihan on French announcements lately.

tldr: France is able to make decision faster than deadlocked Germany and sees the writing on the wall about the future of the EU (not based in trade) and is making a play for a European leadership role since Germany can't/won't and no other country has the military or political clout (after brexit) to do so.

torture of the four suspects is that it doesn't really matter if they are innocent or not.

Thankfully death sentence is not up to vote because big brains like you will inevitably start saying sh*it like 'well yeah it's par for the course for murder, but we should consider it for more crimes!" Until you end up in literal France where they guillotined people for looking at les enfants de la patrie funny.

Funny thing is that if this happened anywhere in the civilised world the amount of well documented torture that these guys went through would make it p. hard to convict them (unless there was DNA evidence on the crime scene and such). It wont matter in rusniggeria obviously, but any upcoming "confessions" on how they were definitely hired by Zelensky and Boris Johnson will be automatically discarded by any reasonable person - this is like 1950s red terror all over again when random people would confess to being part of elaborate CIA conspiracies on daily basis after getting their testicles crashed off the record.

Sentencing to prison or the death penalty has two objectives: to separate and to deter.
Innocent or not, the deterrent box is checked.
These four will be executed by the inmates. Another box checked.
Any problems?

decent society.

A society that invites Muslims to rape (see Sweden) is not "decent". It's beyond moronic. Actually, the English vocabulary has no adequate adjective to fit this mental disorder.

How do I send a thank you card to the FSB?

The value of what the USA says:

Prof. Jeffrey Sachs: "The United States has been running jihadists for more than 45 years... in the Balkans, in the Middle East, in Central Asia, and it could very well have done so, or its client could have done so in Ukraine."

Russian Patriarch Kirill spoke out against Islamic migration in Russia. "They don't respect our culture or tradition, they don't even speak Russian."

Russian Patriarch Kirill spoke out against Islamic migration in Russia.

I hope Patriarch Kirill has alternative ideas on how to reverse Russia's demographic decline.

Perhaps banning all forms of contraception, and banning abortion might help.

Also, Patriarch Kirill could use his immense political leverage, to lobby a law that would make not having kids by 25 punishable by a ten year jail sentence. Just enough time not to ruin your reproductive chances, but also enough time to consider what an ungrateful person you have been towards the Motherland.

The fact is - the Russian economy runs on Central Asians and Caucasians. They drive our cabs, work the cash registers, load our trucks, farm our fields, remodel our apartments, and work onboard our fishing trawlers.

If Patriarch Kirill can figure out how to make Russians want to do those jobs, that would also be great.

Also, since I live in the States - I'm actually able to compare. So, I would take Central Asians and Caucasians over Blacks and Hispanics any day of the week.

Who? Blacks and Hispanics?

I think they would find life in Russia, quite unbearable.

No welfare to exploit, but only back breaking labor instead.

Also you got guys like Patriarch Kirill, who I suspect would have a big problem with a bunch of Baptists and Catholics arriving. Probably much bigger than with Muslims.

At least the Muslims don't encroach on his territory, whereas the Baptists are predatory.

Soon it will be theirs.

Given that Russians are still 80% of Russia, it will take a while before we become as brown as the UK or US.

In Soviet times, the country was less than 50% Russian, and it survived somehow.

ussian economy runs on Central Asians and Caucasians

And how many of them give a rat's @ss about Ukraine and are eager to die on the front for the russian godking?

According to generalsvr one method the government has started using was to seel birth control pills that don't work... I don't believe that but it's a tragic idea.... romania tried something similar and all it did was fill orphanages for communist sh1tbra|ns to infect with HIV through communist economy - reusing needles... no reason to think it would play out differently in russia.... want to raise the birth rate make young people think there's a future... which the russian government is not doing (wild understatement)

want to raise the birth rate make young people think there's a future... which the russian government is not doing

Yeah that's why South Korea and Japan are about to go extinct, because life there is so unbearable.

The problem is deeper.

It has to do with the extremely high rates of urbanization in our countries (despite its enormous size Russia is incredibly urbanized).

It has to do with misaligned incentives in the job market.

There are deep structural reasons, that you cannot solve by getting on a pedestal and hating on "Muslims".

Despite the Tajiks that killed a huge number of our people last week, most central Asians and Caucasians are agnostic.

Also, Tajiks have always been the least integratable foreign population. Because they are Persians, because they speak Farsi, and even in Soviet times had bad command of Russian - they have always been the outlier in comparison to Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, Uzbeks, Turkmens - who are much closer to us culturally. These Turkic peoples are easier for us to deal with than the Persians.

It has to do with misaligned incentives in the job market.

Neoliberalism (dominant socio-economic system.... everywhere with an economy) leads to sterility because it turns children in an expensive indulgence rather than a normal part of human existence.

Only countries not really remotely integrated with the rest of the world (Sub-saharan Africa/parts of the islamic world) have high birth rates and Africa's has apparently peaked and started to decline...

Neoliberalism has reached the end of its utility but it's still hanging on.... somehow.... and most of the models on the horizon are too horrific to contemplate and make the sterilizing effects of neoliberalism seem optimistic by comparison

Neoliberalism (...) turns children in an expensive indulgence rather than a normal part of human existence.

This is, to some extent, true but it's not neoliberalism that is mainly to blame for sterility. In 18th/19th century (and even in most places in early 20th) people were much poorer but still they had children; and children have always been an enormous expense, felt even more acutely during, for example, inter-war poverty in Poland.

It's not liberalism but mass apostasy that is to blame. Eventually, those who follow God's command to be fruitful and multiply will inherit the Earth (at the moment it looks like it will be Muslims) whilst idiot consumerist cattle will die out leaving this planet for wiser people to enjoy.
