There is a big flaw in getting the appointment date, went through an agent who charged 12k for appointment slot, which I shouldnt have done, from my understanding all those coming from agents are being rejected straight away, as the email address mentioned on your form are different. There were 30 candidates ahead of me and all were rejected, Work & Student, there was 1 Business Visa which was approved rest all rejected, on conversing with the candidates below the consulate building we spoke all broken heart and shared our experience, all candidates had gone through agents, who did get them dates charging some 15k also, which I think has got to do with some settings with the consulate.

On weekly basis there are 250 Slots opened for Mumbai consulate, out of which there are hanful of ppl who get the interview dates, lets say 50, rest 200 slots are being sold, worst part is that we are 110% sure that if you go through the agents you visa is "REJECTED". If you in Mumbai stand below the consulate and you will get to know what really is happening there.

Hi @Rob, earlier once you told that you wrongly booked appointment for national visa for others. Did you cancel the appointment or booked the new appointment for national work visa? Or did you book the new appointment without cancelling the old one?

@Arc_99

Among 30 candidates you mentioned, the one thing similar you have all done is booked through an agent for visa appointment. So, your judgment for rejection is just based on the ground: having someones mail id on appointment.

In my experience with consulate for National Visa Students, from my locality.. around 4 Bachelors studies, 2 Masters and 1 PhD are leaving Poland and all have been granted Visa at Mumbai Consulate. Out of all of them.. only 2 people gone to an agent for appointment, still got success on visa. So, my point is to take to consideration the following important things we experienced, rather than just thinking having someones mail id on appointment is the problem..

1. Visa officer sees the quality of education you opted for from the University u applied. For ex: in our case, we all opted for a Top 3 Public University in Poland.

2. Visa officer tries to find out if the course u opted for is suitable for you, from the explanation you give for his question: Why did you choose this course? If he is convinced, and demand for course is good in Poland. Then its fine. For example: All of us, only applied to engineering courses such as: Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science & Environmental engineering.

3. Visa officer wants to finds out your real motive after finishing studies, by asking you a question: What does your sponsor do? What are your course prospects and what is your plan? Officer sure wants to hear genuine answer. because in our experience, he tries to relate our answer with our family background, from all the documents we submitted.

4. And, the documents which u submitted, should be perfect: such as the following:

1. Cover letter

2. Travel Medical Insurance for 1 year

3. Affidavit of Support in stamp paper from sponsor. Example: Father

4. Financial Certificates from Auditor. Example: "Bank balance, Buildings, lands net worth, Business income: audited report" worth 50Lakhs

5. Bank Balance Certificate. Example: 6Lakhs for Masters and 14Lakhs for Bachelors in sponsor account

6. Bank Statement for 6 months

7. B.E certificate with Apostille for M.S visa applicants or SSLC with apostille for Bachelors Visa applicants

8. Sponsor Aadhar proof copy in A4 sheet

9. Applicant passport copy in A4 sheet

10. University Conditional Acceptance Letter

11. University Final Acceptance Letter

12. Tuition fee proof for Semester 1 and 2

13. One way flight reservation for date of journey as mentioned in Visa appointment form

14. Sponsor Income Tax return for 3 years

@Micky01

I have been there once myself, when i wanted to book an student visa, due to unavailability of date, so i tried "Other" to see what can happen.

When contacted to Visa officer through mail, she replied:

Do note that the student visa slots for the October intake will be available only in the month of July. The exact dates are yet to be fixed.

Hence, your current visa application will be cancelled automatically before that time.

Unfortunately you have blocked the appointment for those, for whom the National visa - Others is applicable and we cannot change that.

So, if you book a wrong appointment, you will need to wait till the appointment date, for all the information of yours to erase from their system. Then book right appointment. In case, if you try, to book before that, you will get an error message saying that the applicant details are already in our system, can't book an appointment again.

Hey people!

I had my appointment today and below are my findings from today's interview:

1) Your appointment won't be rejected even if it is from agent as long as it legit. I got my slot from an agent and I had no problem during the doc submission

2) I'd suggest reaching the location as early as possible as this embassy guys are not following any timing pattern. I had my appointment at 10.25 and I went inside at 9.50 and an applicant who had her appointment at 9.45 Went inside at 11 after my interview is done. So basically the early you reach the early you'll go inside.

3) place your documents in an exact order and only give xerox copies of all the docs except for application form and passport.

The lady at the counter will shout on you if you don't put the docs in an order

4) pay your visa consular day before and anyone can pay on your behalf so that you will be on a safe side and need not rush on the day of appointment, I saw many guys today running to the bank for this and they got delayed.

5) the visa officer is extremely friendly and talks like your friend lol.. whatever you say be honest, if you don't know anything just say that you don't know it and will definitely put efforts to learn it.

The questions asked during the interview

1) Why Poland ?
2) why this course
3) how do you know about this university
4) what do you know about Poland ( he asked me this in a different manner .. it was like what do you know about Poland which outsiders doesn't know)

5) what do you wanna after this course ( in case if you are applying for student visa just blindly say that you'll return to your home country and work here )

That's it my interview lasted for 5 mins and the officer smiled and asked me to leave for the day.

They will give you a token which you can use to check the status of your visa application.

Hope this helps the future applicants.

Congrats! Then, In a week the passport should be ready for pick up. So, wish you all the very best for the result. Pls do let us know.

And may I ask a quick question, did you apply to Public or Private university. If Public, is it in Top 3 rank at Poland?. And the courses are they engineering fields? Person @Nandan made me think those choices matter. So may I know what u chose?

@maxx I got enrolled to Gdansk University of Technology which is a public university and I don't know about the ranking of the university. I assume it is in top 10s.

When coming to the course, I chose Masters in International management. Your course and your college shouldn't matter as long as your supporting docs are legit and you have all the other docs needed.

The visa officer didn't ask me anything regarding the sponsors or financial documents as I have provided all the docs they asked like ( support letter + 3 months bank statements + ITR for this year ) both of my friend and my father ( I mentioned that my friend and my father are my sponsors in my cover letter )
Maxx

You once told here that, you have contacted the visa officer for documents required to submit. And this details ( support letter + 3 months bank statements + ITR for this year) are shared by the visa officer.

Because, some of them who got visa shared here, that they submitted: affidavit of support in stamp paper + 6 months bank statements + ITR for 3 years + Audited Financial Certificate of sponsor

And, regarding the token number, just so you know. The consulate on a everyday basis, provides an updated list on applicants who's passport are up for collection. And paste it outside their office. But on the website, they update it only on Friday every week. And, Its obviously not possible for everybody to reach out to consulate and find the updated list. And, thats why u can directly talk to Visa officer at 2 to 3 every day evening. I mean Directly to Visa Officer. He will right way say your result. Just when u call, if a lady picks up tell them you would like to talk to visa officer. Because the visa officer only holds the right to share the decision with you.

@Arc_99 Man all of the guys I knw , who got dates from agent even the e mail address is of agent's as once you enter in the embassy they check the last the last page only , they faced nothing no one is rejected , they all got visa . Its the bullshit rumor embassy rejects because if they really wanted to do something they would have strengthen the e consulate website . People are getting visa via agent is a harsh reality

The biggest proof is me, who got a visa via an agent. I got frustrated with the website and finally, I got the date and then visa, even my last name was incorrectly entered by an agent which later I edited plus email id was different almost 90% people got the dates via agent when I was in the line on the interview day. I spoke to 4 of the people they all got visas.

Email i can show my visa as proof reddykommi5@gmail.

Word of advice: Don't get so fed up easily, if the call don't get through or hung up. Its normal for the Consulate office. Be persistent and keep trying. In maximum of 5th attempt you should be able to get through.

@maxx hey ! I have appeared for interview today and so I can wait for the next two weeks for the decision. I'm not tensed about it.

To all other people, please don't get stressed or disappointed if someone says your visa gets rejected if you get slot through agent..

This is not true and I'm an example for this. I got slot from an agent ( I have told this many times in this thread ) and had no problem with my interview today.

Some guys here are just scaring people with half knowledge.

@maxx the embassy has cleared mentioned in their checklist that only 3 months bank statements and income tax returns for an year is enough as financial proofs. Please check the website for the same info ( 6 months statements, 3 years ITR, property statements etc etc are just additional details which are not asked )

I couldn't try that out, because i wasn't able to block an appointment. Only after few days past the National Visa - others appointment date, i managed to get an appointment for students. May be its better to try it out.

Hi all.I want to share my experience to all as I don't think here there is anyone who have done extensive research like I did..so it all started last year when i did everything to book a slot but cudnt able to book.my college date was approaching and i got no help from embassy or respective people here and on other group..i somehow contacted few agents and finally met the one who was based in Delhi..at first i did not believe that they can get me dates or even if they get me date..how to verify it's genuine or not.they told me to come next day at their office and showed me how they were booking dates for other clients..it was shocking and at the same time surprising how can they book dates like this..they were doing the same process and only difference was they were quick..then they opened the email account to which the ekonsulate sent the appointment date confirmation..i was pretty much sure by that time that i will be booking my dates via them..by next week i got the dates ,i paid them, gave the interview on respective date ,got my visa in 3 days and by the end of month ,i was in Poland..i will say not all agents are fraud..may be i was lucky i got the right people..after i got the date so many people contacted me and i forwarded them their detail ,i have asked all of them and all got dates

I had very bad experience trying to book an appointment via agent. I gave them 10000 rupees to book me an appointment. When I reached at embassy on 22.June, there was no actual appointment for me. I lost that money and the agent stopped picking up my call. I am a software professional, few of my colleagues also tried using the services of agents for Delhi and Mumbai consulates their visa was rejected because of some or other reasons.

Later we decided the try by ourselves in 3-4 attempts one by one we all were able to book appointments from ourselves.

So my advice to is everyone here is do not fall in hands of agents. Your loose your money and also your application may be rejected.

Hey,
I have my visa interview in a week or so, I got into University of Lodz, bachelors in computer science, and I just looked up online and I guess the ranking of my uni went down a bit. I also got into Warsaw University of technology, but my cousin, whom I'm traveling with didn't get into it, so we both planned to go to university of Lodz, I see that all you guys are saying that the visa officer looks upon the ranking of the university, do you think I should be worried about it? If yes, is there any solution or tip?

@Rohanag: I know that your are not a visa applicant. You are actually an agent. Who is pretending to promote yourself. I just send an email to him and after negotiations he offered me his agent services for 5000 rupees.

Guys, you see how the agents are just trying to get your money by any way be it illegal. I still strongly suggest do not go through theses agents. Technical team of e-konsulate very well know all the ip addresses involved in booking the applications. Once they identify many booking at one IP address. They mark such applications internally which are further rejected.

I suggest every genuine visa applicant here, do not put a bad mark in your education/ work career.

A visa rejection for any reasons is a big thing. It will stick with you for all your life.
I am in Wroclaw, Poland now. And my friends here when they apply for resident card or applying visa to any other country. They have to answer a question "have your visa application ever rejected?". There they have to answer and explain the things. As per Dolnoslezský vojvodský úřad (office for applying resident card) Such persons will face problem and a resident card may not be issued to them.

Believe me European countries are very strict about it and you loose for chances of work/education in European Union.

Agents/False applicants: stop playing with the career of people who are desperate situation.

Akforfriend - Really when you contacted me and when you dropped my email? plus yes if you contacted the agent he is going to ask for money of course. I am an applicant and I was looking for an appointment as well even after waiting for 2 months nothing happened then agent helped, one friend already got a visa. See it's your choice want to continue or not with an agent. I am not forcing its an open forum, not an admin operated forum, where I pointed out the things. Even the appointment issue not happening only for Poland, it's for Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, How I know about them you gonna think because of I am a member of the Indian community page there. Clearly, I don't see a point why embassy will reject the applicant when he has valid documents, be it work or study, every financial means and valid air ticket. I am also against this agent function, if consulate knows about this why don't they block these IP addresses at first from booking ?. Plus there, not one agent 100 of them active I also spoke to 4 of them before my friend took date from him. One thing my self-found funny why the embassy will reject the person on different email id. Imagine my name is Rohan and I have other email id dungeonmaster95@gmail, if I put in the form they will reject me.

You know the agents have groups like Poland visa appointment in FB, imagine this group operated by a Srilankan guy who from nowhere seems like an employer of the polish company in Poland, claims to be actually he is an agent, just look at the face. All the Indians are the member's not any single srilankan.

@Nandha

In the case of Ph.D. students, Is apostille is necessary for UG degree certificate (as I completed a Master's degree) and mark sheets?

In Delhi, it is explicitly mentioned to get the apostille in the recent degree. But in Mumbai, such things are not mentioned.

Thank you.
