It took more than 7 months for me. So, it's your choice to wait or move on. Good luck.

Hi Rob,

Thanks for the reply. It's a long time. So what did you do? moved on or you sailed it through? I have signed an undertaking with the employer that if i move out i'll have to pay them the processing fees.

Hi, I sailed it through. Btw, I did not have any under taking with the employer to pay back something.

Great. I know that i have to be patient from day one. But the question is how much. So Rob what was the total time taken from the day process started till you reached Poland? considering, getting work permit then visa appointment then offer letter then serving notice period and flying.

I am on 10th month now and had just applied for my visa. The offer letter and details of your contract comes first. Once you agree and sign, the work permit process starts. So, now you can imagine, how things work. Btw, I am just one such case here, there are so many who get things done fast like in 4 weeks or in couple of months. It purely depends on how your file is handled back in Poland to issue your work permit.

I see. In my case they've to conduct a client interview once i am travel ready, post that they'll release offer letter. Meanwhile they've signed an undertaking and initiated the work permit process. There India office is in touch with me. Also they've asked to start trying to book an appointment by the time permit arrives. But i am not sure had i been booked a slot by now i wouldn't have permit to attend the interview. Not sure what's going on. or whether to rely on them. It's all luck from now on.

Please suggest me where from can I get flight and accommodation reservation for visa purpose? Please give me the travel agent name and details.

@Rob1212, are you native to Mumbai?
If not then how are you getting the draft?

For work visa, do I need to show anything for accommodation, for how many days do I need to show them the accommodation details?

@Shrey1, His number is:
+91 80004 42288

Please check if you dialed correct number. He provides appointment.

Are you going for student visa or employment?

May you give me your full name?
I would ping him the same.

I gave his mail address too. Mail there too.

@Shrey, at the same time, try to check his authenticity thoroughly from your side too.

Hi, I am not native to Mumbai, I had booked a confirmed ticket. That's a risk but I had to. There is no need to show accommodation details for work visa. But, I did attach a accommodation reservation for a week. Looking at Airbnb can be an option for temporary accommodation. Good luck.

@Adidasboy
If it's a work visa, there are no questions at all, unless, when your work permit is one year or less. Then, they might ask you some questions regarding your plan after a year. You submit your documents, they ask you to show your original work permit and only sometimes your diploma and experience certificates . And you will be asked to leave with a token number to track online. Good luck.

+ its been more than an hour, from when he blocked the date... And, as per e-Konsulate.. an appointment date blocked, stays for an hour. So its not sure if u fill out all the details and you will still be able to get the appointment date 9/11.. One way to find if it works, is to actually fill in... which requires any takers for Student National Visa.. Lets see if any one comes..

@Dann

Well, the link opens for me.. but I too don't require an appointment.. Anyway, I will share this with my contacts.. let's see someone can benefit

@raaaz
When u say 9/11 it means September 11, right?

Hi All,

How do we check the authenticity of an appointment booked through an agent?

Regards,
Vignesh

Hi Vignesh,

If you are trying for Mumbai consulate mail to mumbaj.kg.info@msz.gov.pl with subject line "visa application form print out". In mail body mention "Date of appointment ", "Name as in Passport" and "Passport Number". Within 2-3 days they will send you the form in PDF format. Then you would be able to verify if appointment is genuine. Similarly, if you are applying for Delhi, go through the details in their site under cisa information. They have mentioned there what you need to mail to get PDF format of the form.

@maverickman
Ask an agent to share screenshot of first page, validate barcode to number conversion, fonts and layout of form.
screenshot of mail received from consulate.
you can also send mail ( from your personal id ) to consulate with name, application number, and registered email info, and ask them to resent forms. if they don't have data, they will reply saying not real. make sure when you send mail to consulate put subject as "visa application form printout"

good luck.
