Quite. There's always the tiny, tiny chance that it could be a much older note, perhaps pre-war (when there was high inflation too) - basically he needs to look on the Wikipedia page that has pictures of Polish banknotes.

I have some very old Polish paper money and I'm wondering if someone could tell me their value or where I should go for estimates. I have a 1948 20 Dwadziescia Zlotych; and 4 from 1919 - a 5, a 10, a 20 and a 100. If you need more descriptions of them, please ask.

The good is worth so much, how much someone wants to pay for it.

Between a few USD and a few hundred USD, all depends on the quality and series (the red font, letters and numbers) logically a few USD as most likely it was in circulation and belongs to the common series.


It's like "pięć marek polskich" etc. ? Then again a few USD each. But these are just estimates and like a previous guy said, they are worth as much as someone is willing to pay... Generally it's not any treasure but they are not worthless. Of course I'm talking about collectors as you can't pay with them.

Not very high, I suppose, but may depend on the quality and the series number of the note.

1. Serie A:
a) UNC (Uncirculated) - 650 PLN
b) EF (Great condition) - 160 PLN

2. Series B-N and P:
a) UNC - 400 PLN
b) EF - 160 PLN
