jon357 74 | 22,087 19 Apr 2020 #362"50 Tynfow"Does it look like this? Can you see the placename "Dworek nad Łąkami" anywhere?
jon357 74 | 22,087 19 Apr 2020 #365As far as I know, a businessman called Andrzej Żamojda who owns or owned a hotel called Dworek nad Łąkami at Kiermus in Podlasie printed local banknotes. Quite a character, he revived local traditional crafts etc.It sounds a bit like a LETS currency scheme. The hotel is still there and the area's worth visiting.
Charles in Florida 19 Apr 2020 #366Thanks so much for the info...had a lot of fun trying to find out what is was, especially since the printer went to such troubles as to add watermark and gilding to the note. DziękujęDoes it have any value as a collectible?... and what time period these were printed. Thanks again!
jon357 74 | 22,087 19 Apr 2020 #367I don't think there's much value except as a curiosity. There'a one on sale on allegro (Polish Ebay) for 12zl, about 3 dollars. Andrzej Żamojda (according to a magazine article I just looked at) first visited Kiermus in the late 90s, so very recent. Here's the article; it should be possible to put it through google translate. The title (the original is in Polish) reads "The man who founded his own republic".wprost.pl/tygodnik/10117867/czlowiek-ktory-stworzyl-wlasna-rzeczpospolita.htmlI would hang on to the banknote; it may become rare one day.

Charles in Florida 19 Apr 2020 #369It's worth more to me just as a novelty! It has a great story!! I have a small collection of foreign (to me...USA) coins and banknotes many of which I collected as a kid in the 50's and 60's as I was an Air Force brat dragged all over the world. This will fit nicely. Once again, my thanks to you for all your responses!
ingersofia13 4 Sep 2020 #370I recently inherited 117,500.bills from my deceased husband. I have 10,000, 5,000 and 500 bills but my bank says they're not worth the trouble? I really was counting on paying my bills with these bills. Can anybody please help me with some guidance?
Dirk diggler 10 | 4,602 4 Sep 2020 #372Those are old PRL (commie era) banknotes pre 90's. They're not worth anything unless you have some old zloty coins with silver content, and then they're just be worth spot silver price.
pawian 222 | 24,060 4 Sep 2020 #373I have 10,000, 5,000 and 500 bills10.000 bills are valued about 40 PLN an auction sites. If the total sum is over 100.000, then if you sell ten 10.000 notes, you can get around 400 PLN. Not bad.

pawian 222 | 24,060 7 Jul 2021 #389We have 10,000,From 70 to 200 zlotys, depending on its condition. About 40-50$.
Dirk diggler 10 | 4,602 19 Jul 2021 #39010,000, 5,000Is it coin or paper currency? If banknote it's worthless. If it's one of the silver coins can be worth $40-$200, maybe up to $400-$700 for uncirculated condition to the right collector. If a rare gold version, several thousand.
