Polish being attacked or having bricks thrown their windows, even fire bombed.
Whilst I believe that any violence is wrong I can understand why it is increasingly happening. Im afraid there is just too many poles here now and the English want them out.

Perhaps these violent twits should take it out on who's at fault. Are they mentally ill or something not to realize that the PL are there by invitation.

Another noimmigration has joined the forum :/ yay

News / Polish Immigrants Leave America for Europe [210]

I know all about how small the UK is. The only voice we have regarding immigration is the illegal. I can't truely understand immigration from the UK's perspective, so it's almost pointless to comment on this. I can understand the Brit's are aggrivated by the numbers, but I can also understand why the PL are leaving for better opportunity. I'd prob. do the same if I was raised in PL, but i don't think I'd chose the UK. There are many of other countries that offer sth special, but the language barrier in these other countries would be a problem.

Have all of you really turned this into a pissing contest? Just about very nation is responsible for inventing something wonderful/not so wonderful in this world. We also all work together to perfect this product so it benefits everyone.

Why must you all argue over who's better?

This is simply wrong....the quality has to be compromised

It's not. We have a few of these in NJ. They rotate the same doctors from the local hospital. Not everyone can afford medical, so these places are great to have.

Food / What is your favorite Polish Vodka? [653]

All you can get here is Absolute (Sweden), Grey Goose (France), Stoli (Russia).

All depends on where in the US you live. I can get Zoladkowa Gorzka, Ultimat (exp only), Pravda (exp only), Luksosowa, Zytnia..etc.

News / Are Poles good enough for USA (to go there without a visa)? [288]

We are the richest and most opportunistic nation in the world! We also are one of the most tolerant

We are not the richest. Not as much opportunity as we used to have. And definitely not the most tolarant....and most of us do welcome people of any nation to come and work here legally. We all learn from each other.

What makes you think we're the most tolarant?

I do love living here and we can be a great caring nation of people, but we're not in a good situation at this time. We have a lot of housekeeping to do. If we were so rich than why are people still living in trailors in New Orleans?

But these need to be Wisznia, a sour cherry (Wisznowka). Normal cherries don't taste as good made this way. Also can be made with raspberries (Malinowka). After you let sit for 3-4 weeks, you have to pour out the liquid (using cheese cloth) and add 5-6 cups of sugar to the fruit. Let sit for another 3 weeks in warmth/sun and again drain out liquid and add sweet syrup to 1st batch of liquid removed. Let sit until it settles and then remove cleared liquid off of the top.

News / 10,000 ISRAELIS READY TO CLAIM FOR POLISH CITIZENSHIP AND POLISH LAND! [628]

I'm not too familiar with why this conflict is occurring, but who was there first? If the palistinians claim that it's their land and the Israelies came there afterwards, what's the arguement? I'd be fighting for my property too. The things they do overthere are inhumane on both sides. Yeah...smart lets counter a suicide bomber with a few rockets...an eye for an eye? Is that how Israel sees it? I can't see any resolution when both sides aren't talking, but playing like angry children.

LOL the one with Lenin's head in the window? I thought that was more of a cafe, but I did see people drinking in there. I think it's across the st. from Morphine, correct?

Yeah, it is sweet. It's a pity you didnt like it. I actually thought I could impress you with that beer, but I guess not. :)

I do like to try different things and it wasn't half bad, but I couldn't drink it all night long. I would appreciate one with dinner :)

safe to assume that Deja vu is the pub you frequent?

Fortuna

Not my thing. I was in Deja vu and tried a dark Fortuna on tap and it tasted too much like cola.

.....and yes, piotr i Pawel has a huge variety. I love that place
