Law / Advice needed on access rights and alimony payments regarding my Polish daughter [28]

As a mother and a woman I'm going to give you this advice.

Stop the money until you have proper access
Start court proceedings
Document \ email everything so you can show you child what a awkward ***** his/her mother was

Women hold all the cards and it's so unfair if a woman wants payback or just wants to be horrid.

I feel for you - I couldn't imagine not seeing my baby

Food / Polish Christmas Eve Dinner recipes [81]

Why not just cook food you know people will like? Try home made salmon fish cakes as a fish alternative to carp - do a classy buffet style - do whatever your family like sweetie xx

Genealogy / I am looking for an African guy in Krakow, I dated [73]

Somethings never change here! If the OP is genuine she's hormonal, frightened and out of her mind with worry and people advise her to abort because the baby isn't pure white - that's just barbaric and if an Asian or african suggested the same thing (because the baby wasn't fully one or the other) you would all be up in arms!!

Personally I reckon it's a troll and you lot have been had right over and showed what vile people you are.

News / Abortion still under control in Poland [2986]

Funny, isn't it, that those pro-'choice' are also the ones who can't agree when life begins,

Im pro-choice, but I believe that life begins at conception, its a living organism...but if we look at the statistics of how many women died having back treet abortions in the UK before the abortion Act came in, I believe a safe abortion is better that a coat hanger...I personally believe that the 24 weeks is far too late (my friends daugher has just flown the nest to uni and she was born at 26 weeks), a woman (normally) knows she is pregnant when she's even 1 day late these days...which means she is circa. 2 / 3 week pregnant, so 9 weeks is enough time...unless a woman choses to abort because of a defect or downs which can not be detected until 18 weeks...

The only real answer is education, showing a scan picture at 12 weeks of a fully formed human being to a group of 14 year olds might prevent a new generation of "covenience" abortions...forced inplant contraception is also another option, prevention is better than cure as that they always say...and I personally choice isnt always a good thing...

Genealogy / Do I look Polish? (my picture) [375]

You definitely don't look British!!

You mean English? Met lots of people who are "British" but have foreign parentage, so looking "British" means nothing.

He looks more German to me!

Are you from Roscommon?

What's wrong with Roscommon?

Life / Why is circumcision not practiced in Poland? [701]

That seals it. I'm gonna take one for the team. Er, two, actually. Cut and un-cut. My wife will be furious. I'll report back with my findings.

LOL..I meant from a womans point of view :D You're married, evidently, she's more than happy with what she has...

Life / Why is circumcision not practiced in Poland? [701]

Yes, that was the answer I was talking about... :)

One has to have the personal experience to be able to comment with an informed answer IMHO ;0)

It never became popular in the UK and its looked upon as more a religious thing here in the UK, i.e. only Jewish people and Muslims do it, culturally its just not done thing, but thats not to say there arent plenty of snipped pullys out there..I wouldnt have a clue what women in the UK think about it because Ive never asked...Personally I dont think they'd really care as long as it was fully functioning and put a a smile their face :D

because Charlotte apparently found an uncircumcised one very distasteful, and this is an indication of what all women think, because all women are like the women on Sex and the City, and that is why all women watch it, talk about it and envy the women on it their lifestyles

Its a programme, nothing more...the women who envy it and try to live by it are thicko losers who dont actually have a life...they'd also be lucky to get a glimse of a cock on screen let alone in real life!

Life / Why is circumcision not practiced in Poland? [701]

Funny discussion. Just close your eyes (or turn off the lights, if you want) and then tell me if a woman is able to feel the difference between a circumcized and an uncut dick. I know the answer...

You cant tell and asthetically they dont look that different when hard...

Not sure what sex in the city has to do with all this...I watched it for years and it didnt sway me either way...iit all depends on the penis I suppose some look horrid some look nice and that goes for both cut and uncut..

Love / Polish women are the most beautiful in the world! [1718]

English girls seem to come off worst, because there is a wider range of types, and a vast, and growing, group of badly-dressed, over weight.

Whilst in Krakow a few years back I thought the women looked lovely (but not up to the standards of Italian women by any stretch of the imagination)...but in the UK, you can spot a Polish girl a mile off...cheap clothes and cheap dyed hair...sorry hun, but I see plenty more English women shopping Coast and KM and in the hair dressers getting their highlights done that are well presented than their are Polish girls doing like wise...

You seem to think you're a cut above the rest here because you're half Polish...trust me there are plenty of fugly Polish women about, living in Manchester Ive seen plenty of them!!

Language / The shame! I can't pronounce my Polish wife's name (Ola) [69]

They either a) are trying to be nice or b) like your exotic accent.

I think Wulkan was saying that his girlfriend and her friends have no problem saying Ola, I dont understand how someone could get it wrong, as for Orla, thats an Irish way of saying it...all down to accent, the OP, it would seem has an accent that makes it difficult to say it correctly and keeps putting an "r" sound in there..I have to say it would peeve me.

youtube.com/watch?v=kH4U8RPICgA

Now isntead of staying Olay, put an "a" instead of the "ay" sound...simples!

Love / English Men vs Polish Men [207]

Polish men are more real than English men.

Yawn..My fella is all man has a professional job works hard, can cook and clean and iron...Now that's what I call perfect!

As for English men becoming real when they're with Poles..have you ever worked in a pub? Get a group of men together and they go all alpha male regardless of what nationality they are!!

Men have not become emasculated, they have evolved, same as they're not whacking us over the head and dragging us into caves (that would be considered rape these days btw)...Soiety changes and so do we.

Now let me guess, you are dating a Polish man?

Life / If I'm agnostic, deist, atheist - can I say that to Polish people in Poland? [72]

I wonder what's the thinking behind this thread

The OP comes from a country where is it a legal requirement to have your religion on your ID, same as in Malasia, it's a muslim thing, so therefore it is a big deal. People are judged by their religion, it would appear that the OP cares not for religion and would live to live in a society where people are like minded, so him not caring about religion is a big deal to him, he doesnt want to be judged by religious people.

Love / Polish women are the most beautiful in the world! [1718]

i would say that slavic women have a very distinctive advantage over non slavic women... :)

The French are not Salvic, but they seem to breed good looking women...(and men!)...

more like a Latin American prostitute than anything else

What a rotten thing to say..How many Latin American pozzies do you know? To me she looks mixed race, the absolute double of my friends sister-in-law who is half Jamacan...

Love / English Men vs Polish Men [207]

when a guy looks at a girl for more than 5 seconds, he's definitely thinking something. Therefore, he must have been afraid or shy to say hello.

Maybe looking at the hot chick in the low cut top who was behind you? Trust me, English men in general are NOT shy...

Yes.. except around men's toilets.

You been cottaging recently then Pete? ;0)

History / 'Battle of Britain' won thanks to Polish aces !! [158]

No,unlikely only because the uniforms were different.
Poles were very popular with the women of the UK and had a reputation as lotharios :)

Never heard any of my grannies speak about them, nor any of my friends grannies...twas always the Americans and the Canadians...and yes unforms were a big thing I was going to mention that since most if not all went out in uniform in those days..so I will say again...it was unlikely that British women went for Polish men because of the reason that Zdarizs said which was because of their heroics!..Im not sure where you get the whole Polish men had a rep because Ive never ever heard any stories about them....Im off to a friend that lives in a village in Derby tomorrow will ask her...I know loads of Poles settled there..but doubt there's an RAF connection though...just local girls that met foreign men...same old same old...

History / 'Battle of Britain' won thanks to Polish aces !! [158]

(and some Brits in general) pretended Polish accent to get dates with British chicks :)

Highly unlikely, it was the Canadians and the Americans they were interested in, simply becuase they were flash and could get certain items that were rationed (nylons and chocolate! - tis a ways so a womans heart!)...Acts of bravery were secondary...

UK, Ireland / Why Poles will never belong in England [283]

ALL English, Germans as well as other Northern Europeans were Catholics prior to Henry (including Scandinavia) .

Really? I think you might find there were a fair few pagans about and Henry VIII set up the Church of England, which was based on Lutherism, which was started by Martin Luther, who was a German.

Travel / How welcoming is Poland for an American visitor? And great places to visit. [43]

first time visiting, I think he has the right to ask..

Absolutely he's going to be a long way from home, I also forgot to tell the OP, that as a female, I actually felt safer in Poland than I do in the UK, it may be different for a man, but I dont think so if he's just an average guy who's not going to be loud and bring attention to himself when idiot drunks are about (I dont mean just Polish drunks either!).

I think he'll love it, I did, hence the reason I went 3 times :)

Go enjoy yourself, try the food and the drink and the endless beautiful buildings in the cities and the lovely countryside, Im English been 3 times and didnt find the people unwelcoming - slightly indifferent and possibly rude in Krakow but absolutely lovely in Wraclow..like any country some cities will be nicer than others.

The Salt Mines are quite nice and Krakow is a beautiful city, Wraclow is also a lovely city with some fantastic places to eat and I hear that Poland has fab beaches.

News / Tragedy in Russia - shouldn`t Poland declare national mourning? [41]

saying that though, maybe we are just to British because I always find these "days of mourning" rather ,well, its hard to say.

Exactly...being told to show grief isnt the same as being genuine about it....having said that 11hr of 11th month I genuinely feel pride and sorrow..But mourning over another countries dead (apart from 9/11) I wouldnt even bother...
