i think the easiest way to call home from poland or anywhere is with skype. im always using it, and if family members have it, its free. dont fall for those special promotion cards, they still arent that cheap.

Have to disagree, I also have the same opinion as you, but when treating a patient you should never discriminate against anyone.
The NHS or whatever the health service in Poland is called should not be responsible for these brainless idiots who have tanked themselves up on drugs or have OD on their latest hit.

The simple fact is that the nurses and doctors spend most their time in A and E treating people with drug addiction, from a-class drugs to alcohol. I go by the rule of prevention before cure, but i think our society has gone past the line where that will help, even worse is the fact that in some hospitals, cannabis is given out, or allowed, just to remove the danger of threatening behaviour towards staff. That is where the problem is, i couldnt personally give a toss about what my patient does in his free time, but if i am to treat him properly, i dont want a substance abuse addiction coming in to it. People dont understand that when you do abuse, you will automatically write off 45% of medication you can take.

Nope, 'cos its usually a peer pressure thing, and i think that one should have the intelligence to decide for themselves, and not make it a legal thing, or forced by an authority. What about prescribed cannibis for those who suffer MS?

What about doctors who prescribe to patients knowing all to well the patient has an addiction problem?
Every person has a vice or two, but i because of my ex profession cannot discriminate beteen them.
my best mate, is an ex heroin user. Without the help he recieved he would most likely be dead.
we could argue all day what is right, and wrong. But the problem is many people have an opinion, but havent seen or worked with dealing with these people. Im sure that woud open your eyes

There's no excuse for BO, at the end of the day it just comes down to poor hygiene.
If you live in a hot climat, bathe more. If you live in a cold climat like Northern Europe, then it just shows you don't wash properly. End of.
