The current law allows 3 situations in which abortion is legal:
-the pregnancy is the result of illegal act (usually rape)
-the fetus is very sick
-the woman health and life is in danger.
I don't think anyone can call it too lenient.
Before PiS came to power the morning after pill was available without prescription but now you have to go to a doctor again. The abortion under the new law could be terminated only if the mather's life is in danger however I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to block that as well. And the women should be prosecuted and charged for up to 5 years in prison

That's what Nowacka said- that this ban will hit poor women the most since wealthier women will just go abroad. If you don't have a penny you'll be f*****.

I'm not panicking just yet but the vision of the future is getting scary.
For PiS supporters it may be worth remembering that they tried it last time and Maria Kaczynska herself organised a meeting in support of the current law.

I don't as I have no reason to do so. However it's hard to deny that that law will affect women not men ergo women are more interested in it. Plenty of Buzz on social media as well. We'll see if the initiative will gather enough signatures...

Well, that will be interesting to see. Women already get ****** off. I didn' see a single positive comment about the new proposal on the most popular portals. Even gossip site like Pudelek reports this proposal and most comments I saw there and elsewhere is that priests went mad and should sort out their sh** and not get involved with this.

Some right-wing politicians are not too happy as well. Gowin (if I remember correctly) said that even though he's against abortion this new proposal will change Poland into unchristian country.

Sorry Pol but at least Delph comes up with new informations whereas your only response is that it's all KOD and unpatriotic Poles. Sometimes I agree that Delph blows things out of proportion but you really went over the board saying it's ok that the guy doesn't have any experience. Either don't comment or say that you don't believe he hasn't got any expirience or at least admit that IF it's true it was the wrong thing to do. Opposition ( Delph here) criticises the government as a rule (you did the same when PO was in power) but to agree that that situation is ok is just crazy. Especially since you associate your favourite political party with honesty and rule of law.

You Polonius would gladly say that black is white and white is black if it only concerned PiS. I usually ignore your posts after reading few first words almost always including KOD and PiS (what's up with you and repeating the same phrases and 'jokes' over and over again anyway?).

Giving young ppl a chance is a good thing but appointing someone without a clue in very high position is stupid and dangerous. I wonder if anyone would like to be treated by someone who never had anything to do with medicine.

Really? Weird since (as explained to me recently by PIP worker, the worker will be sewing shirts for some time)
umowa zlecenie- the worker is to make certain things the best he can and usually not (example given to me- sewing shirts)
umowa o dzieło- the worker is paid for a precise thing he does "dzieło" (example- 10 shirts, he is paid for the shirts, not the time he spends on it e.t.c)

ZUS is a big payment and I understand that it can be a strain on the employers and one man companies but there is one thing- if you don't want to pay ZUS, cool, but don't moan after that you don't have a pension. It's like with our stars that never paid ZUS and now complain they have 500 zl of pension.

Warsaw is not whole Poland, please try to remember that. It's hard to deny that compared to the past the ammount of Jews in Poland is very, VERY small. I don't want to say I would be against Jews coming to Poland, I just want to say that we don't have a big group of Jews in Poland.

Yes, and even more than 10 years. Compromises are necesarry but it can have a lot of adventages as well. It all comes to one- you fall in love with a person, not some foggy idea of nationality.

Stability has nothing to do with nationality. If you met a guy you judge by his character how grown up is he, not by the nationality- that argument is simply invalid.

It's funny how the ppl that claim they know what Polish women like are men... I would choose character over nationality anytime. If the Polish/Serbian guy suited me more, cool but if the American guy had traits I'm looking for I would choose him. Simple as that. I wouldn't look at some mysterious national traits.
