The research given in video has no historical/scientific or even analytic (their conclusions are totally groundless) value.

Don't get me wrong, i might sound fanatic sometimes. But i just don't believe that the way the russians handled this in the communist times was fair. That's why they should make a new one, maybe even a totally neutral one.

NO!!!

This is an political issue and Russia downplayed Polands role in the communist times,

I believe in a new serious research about the origin of the Wodka/Vodka.

The last one was made by a russian for the russians.

All too often examples of how the Polish people and their illustrious history go overlooked or altogether neglected from any historical mentions, save, their being overrun by the Blitzkrieg in 1939. It's as if only mere mentions of how Poland suffered are allowed to be openly discussed, if at all, which is usually overshadowed by the suffering of others who were not Polish during WWII (thanks to Hitler, Stalin, Churchill and Roosevelt). 'Confined to Quarters' is a description used here, to illustrate where Polish history is usually kept when it is excluded from film and history books outside of Poland itself by others who seem to want to keep it that way.

Following, however, are examples from earlier Polish History with some selected excerpts from Arthur L. Waldo's book 'Jamestown True Heroes', of, in this case, (also overlooked or ignored), how England relied heavily upon Poland and/ or the well-known relationship between the two countries historically, which continually goes unacknowledged and undocumented in 'modern' 'period' films and historical accounts. Complaining about this ongoing occurrence usually tends to fall on deaf ears outside of the Polish demographic in general. So, here is one small attempt to bring such rarely-known history to the eyes and ears of the curious and/or unknowing non-Polish society in hopes to better educate those who weren't familiar with this information

You also failed to mention the Hanseatic League, which was one of the richest and most powerful organzations of its time.

Well you also failed to mention that the Slavic House of Mecklenburg ran the show in western germany.

Same goes for the Slavic Piast dynasty that controlled Silesia and the eastern borders og Germany aka Holy roman empire.

One of the main reasons why Catherine II of Russia invaded Poland in 1772 was because of all the serfs who fled to Poland to be escape from the serfdom in Russia.

why didn't Poland conquer colonies outside of Europe like the other bigshots did? Just curious.

They did threw their fiefdom Courland.

Well i just found 20 bottles of "krombacher weizen" in my cellar but the expire date is 12-12-08 on them, and that was like a year and a half ago.

My question is, are they still drinkable?

Stop be sucha anti-semit, just live with it that Slavs are so mixed with the jews. I bet your family has a little bit jewish blood in it aswell. I swallowed the truth about jews a long time ago and i dont have any problem to share my history with the jews.

What's so bad about the jews? they helped us build up our economy and made a great impact on our culture. It is because of us ( slavs ) that the Jews dont consider them selfs as a part of our family. we hated them, turned them in to the nazis, burned them alive, stole their money etc etc etc. This is something we have to live with, but also something we should learn from. And yes we should seek for their forgivness for what we have done to them and invite them back to our family where they belong.

Genealogy / Do Polish people have big noses? [450]

A big nose is not typical for "real" poles. It is very rare to find anyone in Poland to be 100% Polish. After WW2 Stalin ( Former leader of soviet) decided to move russian and ukrainian people into Poland, especially in the former german lands like Silesia/Pommern/Preussen and other places around Poland aswell.

The east slavic tribes were well known to have a large nose, and later on when the mongolian so called "Golden horde" invaded Russia they became assimilated and becuse of that russians also gained an mongolian shaped head

The west slavic tribes were mixed with the German tribes and later on Scandinavian becuse they settled down in the north part of Poland and were assimilated with the slavs after a while. So before ww2 it was not a big difference betwen german and polish people.

When i say "Polish" i mean people who lived in the polish core provinces like Cracow/Mazovia/Lublin/Gdansk etc etc etc... And not the old polish provinces like Minsk/Kiev/Vilnius/Smolensk etc etc etc...

History / 1612 new russian epic movie. Polish troops in Moscow. [25]

I have seen the movie and it sucked. The Polish General got captuerd and dies in a duell at the end, and the polish army flees. I get the feeling that the movie was about the poor against the rich, becuse in the movie the Polish ppl have nice armor and look very noble while the russians looks like poor peasants.
