Don't think I've ever not drunk alcohol at least once a week, for years. Normally 2-3 times, almost every day during stressful weeks.

Mostly when going out with friends and only occasionally alone at home. I do it because I like the taste of alcohol, and the fuzzy feeling you get when slightly drunk. I occasionally drink a lot, but I don't cross the limit between drunk and shitfaced. I like being drunk, I don't like being so drunk I puke and don't remember half of the night's events.

Also, sometimes I drink harder alcohols in order to make my depression more bearable. Being drunk tones it down and prevents me from constantly overthinking everything, so it helps a lot.

I have never felt 'addicted' though.
