History / What Poland expected from western Europe? [78]

the "immigrants" will continue to trickle in.

Yes they will, but they will adhere to the rules and respect Poland, laws and its traditions or suffer severe consequences from the law and their neighbours. there is no messing around in Poland.

Life / Are gas stoves a must in Poland? [6]

We have a stove with a propane/butane bottle , its important to keep it well maintained, checking the hoses and connections at least every six months. you can buy a gas leak sniffer on the internet otherwise dish soap and a bit of water will show up a leaky joint.

Food / British food products in Poland? [334]

cupboard well-stocked with British products so you can live in your own British bubble.

I missed some British food for the first couple of years, don't miss it at all now, I have a great time cooking with quality fresh seasonal Polish produce.

Poland should become the hub for the interest of the United States

If only this could be possible, sadly the new ingrate democratic government is about to $hit on Poland big style, they won't forgive the support Poland gave to Trump anytime soon.

History / Will Poland rebuild classical buildings? [24]

Dresden

At the time of the Yalta agreement, Polish Bomber pilots had their sidearms removed by British officers, because Poland had been sold to the soviets.

Bitter times for Polish aircrews and the citizens of Dresden.

with a clear stance to China..

Bratwurst I am with you when it comes to a strong bloc of co-operating nations I have not lost my EU dream Whatever happens there will be no stronger proponent of strong Polish /German co-operation than I.

But when the EU (Currently with Germany in charge) Reward China with a very lucrative trade deal I do wonder if its just me that is mad in the head.

the same rights and vote

But its not the same on one hand you have the EU socialists trying to push their left wing dogma on Poland, on the other hand Poland is not ready to turn socialist any time soon, here is the friction/conflict as Pawian would put it Libtard vs Rightard , that's where we are .

It's all a big laugh really, who cares , anyway with a new super strain we will be building memorials to the billions of dead, and what's left will be ruled by China.

you are a member in a very powerful elite bloc.

That's now only half as powerful since Britain left who's next no leave ? because of political meddling in brussels.

Not every country is happy to lose its sovereignty to the political whims of Germany and France.

Before we build statues in each others countries we should put an end to political meddling before more friendships and alliances are lost

how many friends does Poland have in Europe

Ok back to the question of Poland.

Poland has NEVER had friends in Europe.

Poland has always been sold down the river firstly by the greedy imperialists, and more lately at Yalta in 1945.

UK, Ireland / Advice about UK life insurance options [27]

I get in touch with a medical university they will give you paperwork to fill out and sign. once you are dead someone will have to hand the papers over to the undertaker who will take you away.

cheapest option should I happen to die here

Well the cheapest option is a simple cremation, or just donate your body to science that's free.

repatriation

I am guessing you are a Sikh, so you could be cremated in Poland, possibly a Ardas could be played in Poland, your ashes then could be sent home (DHL) for a proper service at a Gurdwara local to your family.

Travel / Poland in photo riddles - part 2 [1680]

I'm surprised Dolno didn't get the planes or tank.

No I have visited some places but still so much of Poland to discover, I do like museums, and probably focus too much on the war years anyway I am getting back into photography so I hope to be able to make some contributions to this thread in the summer.

Meantime thanks Pawian , guys and girls for the interesting and varied content on this thread.

Love / How do Polish men feel about gender equality? [780]

or with plumbers?

Best Chekiem explains her position on this one .. the film tests the boundaries of genderism and equality , but love rules out at the end.

Maybe that's the simple answer to gender equality, relations based on empathy and love.

Plumbers.

Women enjoy plumbers when they visit, watch the adventures of a plumbers mate.

It stars Elaine Page and Arthur Mullard , was top entertainment and very educational for a young Polish boy growing up in Britain.

I think just a joint remembrance service for the dead Polish and German people / soldiers is enough.

I would rather build monuments to mark successful German/Polish relations and enterprise.

Love / How do Polish men feel about gender equality? [780]

Almost 50% of them blamed stress, 25% - heavy drinking, 36% - tiredness and 29% - anxiety.

I have suffered with all the above honest :)

Must say its always the guy who is expected to perform can be a bit tough sometimes.

I will add one to the list "couldn't be bothered", the chase is sometimes more fun than the actual act if you know what i mean.

News / Poles say a big YES to our European Union [957]

Exactly the EU does not care that millions are being sent to camps just because they are Muslim or Buddhist, let alone the suffering of political prisoners in Hong Kong, does Europe even care what has happened to the whistle blowers in Wuhan, they are more interested in cheap plastic toys for their kids.
